“We were out during each of the 4 days we were there, but the garden are looked very nice.However the driveway was a nightmare and we had to negotiate the curve with 2 “back & fill” when driving to the door to drop our luggage.We parked 1/2 way up the drive in the guests’ area because part of our stay there were other people parked at the top. Just as well it wasn’t raining, in which case we would have gone elsewhere.At the bend in the drive on the road side there is a precipitous drop, so really……

“No communication with host. Not a place to be without a car. Walking uphil on roads without sidewalks not safe after dark. No place to sit outside. 10 min from center is true when downhill without luggage. With luggage uphill a chalenge if not knowing the location. Positive: cute homely place with excellent shower and comfy king-sized bed. Close to Wombat and Convent. The electronic lock failed and we took a key instead. Very quiet place, we did not see a soul except for a lovely grey cat. ”

“This was a beautiful mini retreat in a superb location. It is a rustic and quaint interior with full private amenities in a very clean and cosy space surrounded by a tranquil and gorgeous garden. A definite positive alternate to a motel. The owners Jess and Ali respected full privacy though certainly were helpful and approachable if needed. Ali's art work is to be admired. Jess's local knowledge was shared willingly . The owners focus however is on ensuring you feel uninterrupted……

“Very picturesque. The room was large with a comfortable bed and two comfortable armchairs. The bathroom was adequate but the mirror placement is a bit awkward for ladies though there is a larger mirror within the closet door. Quite clean with coffee and tea available and a generous fruit bowl. The split system was great and it is very quiet spot. The owner was very warm and welcoming as well as helpful with directions. ”
