“We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. This time, we received a surprise, an upgrade to the new cottage—a self-contained tiny house with a view of the Mountain and the beautiful river. Warm and cosy, we had peace and quiet. “Spacious room with all that my wife and I needed for a long weekend, including kettle, fridge and toaster so we could prepare our own breakfasts. A microwave available in a common area was useful to reheat a ready-cooked meal we brought from home for our first night. There is also washing machine, but we didn't use it so can't comment. Location is excellent - right in the centre of Bright, yet a very quiet street, and walking distance to all the main streets, cafes, restaurants, parks etc. For……

“I had a great stay for the second time. The unit is well situated on the river, only a short walk to the shops. The unit has been recently update and has everything you may need (except an oven). There are BBQ and laundry (gold coin) facilities, as well as outdoor seating onsite. Would definitely stay here again. Owners are welcoming and responsive to queries. ”
