While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! ”

“Well maintained and competitively priced hotel on the south side of Dublin city centre. Tastefully decorated rooms in a pair of former Georgian town houses. Be aware that rooms in Number 68 will involve going out and back in to Number 70 to access breakfast room. Good selection of breakfast options were served, though number of available tables may mean a short wait at busy times.”

“I have never had an issue communicating with a property using Hotels.Com but that was the case with Griffith Hall. The person who registered us said that it was a common issue for them. In the end, things worked out but it could be a problematic issue. The residence is just that a college residence. Don't expect a regular hotel experience. And be prepared to use public transit to get anywhere or walk a lot. It is not in a central location.”

My room felt grand, with high ceilings, excellent pillows and bedding, and a beautifully considered design. “The studio wasn’t huge, but quite practical as the space had been used well. There was a good bit of storage space and a little kitchenette. The bathroom arrangement was somewhat unusual. It was nice and quiet in the studio, with barely any noise from outside or within the building. One thing that would’ve made a huge difference to the comfort levels is air conditioning, as it got quite hot in the studio due to the warm weather.
