“We stayed here while our teenage son attended a camp at Wingate University (30 minutes away). The house was just as described, VERY clean and the attention to detail was fantastic. Beverages/coffee provided, soaps/dishsoap/shampoo, etc. were plentiful. One review mentioned the dated kitchen and bathroom but the owners have done everything to make it work and they succeeded. “We really enjoyed our excellent stay at the cabin! It was a lovely place to unwind for the weekend. We really enjoyed the trails, loved that they had rocks you could paint to add to the trail, and loved to walk down to the pond. We brought my friend's dogs, and they had a blast! The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed the screened in porch, and the AC works great. Lisa and Andrew are great hosts and are very communicative. We didn't need anything during our stay……

“We stayed here for a wedding nearby. The communication with Bernadette was excellent. We had everything we needed at the house and more. Food lion was a very short drive as well. House was very clean, AC going and set up upon arrival. Neighborhood was quaint and quiet. We would stay again if ever in the area.”

Our dogs and kids loved the property, we took time to walk around and enjoy the nature. The natural sunlight from the large windows was amazing as well! I loved waking up and looking out across the yard. “Easy to find and access was good with the owners help as the door was hard to get open. The property had a lot of junk laying all over the place. Fishing was available but the dock was a nightmare and very dangerous with most of the boards loose or coming up and or missing and broken. The trailer was not cleaned as there was dead bugs and dirt on the floor and area carpets. If he paid anyone he got ripped off. There was one pan for cooking and we would not have been able to eat there if my wife……

“The property was excellent, the staff was excellent, except for two ladies at the front desk. This started our stay in a negative light but I shrugged it off and enjoyed everyone else that worked there. The place was clean. We were very pleased with our room and housekeeping was very pleasant. The restaurant and the workers were great, very friendly and the food was delicious. The next morning all the staff were great. The continental breakfast was amazing and check out super simple. ”
