“Quiet cabins! Helpful staff ”

“Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. ”

“Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location.”

“We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. Our kids also enjoyed the multitude of items……

“This sweet cottage worked very well for us! Seal Harbor was very quiet & away from crowds. Just a short walk down the the quiet Jordan Pond Rd is a lovely carriage trail that takes you through the woods to Jordan Pond! It is a 15 minute drive to busy Bar Harbor and many of the trail heads for some spectacular hiking!”

“NASTY! To start, we missed the house because the exterior did not match the pictures. When we walked up the stairs and were greeted by a rusty razor blade on the handrail. We then went to enter the code that was sent, and it was not correct! We had to go back to town (remember, there’s no service) and had to call the VRBO hotline to finally get a code that worked. The pictures did not match at all!. There was a layer of dust caking the top of furniture, and I walked into a spiderweb that had……

“My partner and I came to Bar Harbor to hike, bike the carriage roads, and have a comfortable clean place to rest each night. This property is perfect for travelers planning to be out and about most of their stay. Perfectly sized for two and has just what you need. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in site. You can grab laundry detergent from the gas station just down the street. Great communication. Very clean. Will definitely be back again.”

“When we arrived we noticed that the property was clean. However, not soon after, I needed to shower, upon finishing the hook for towel adhesive gave out and fell off the wall. After, i tried to watch some television, however i had to plug in the cable box. Then when i turned the cable on we quickly realized there wasn’t a remote for the television. I reached out to management and was told to search everyone because it was deff in the unit. It wasn’t the worst as we didn’t spend much time in the……

“We loved our off-season stay at this little house. Comfy, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and includes the conveniences of home. Just a few minutes walk to a nearby stone beach.
