“With a spacious living room, three large bedrooms (and one small) this beautiful farmhouse was conveniently located to Mt. Joy. The owners live on the other side of French doors, so there might be some noise transference. (We were never there during the day, so we have no direct knowledge of this.) The only thing that was awkward was that there was no sink or water on the first floor. Since we weren't going to be cooking, I didn't think that would be a problem. But to dump your coffee cup or……

“It was a delight to stay in the Shoe which I saw for so many years on the way to visit my extended family in Reading, PA from Baltimore. Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive. It was a delight!”

“This was my second time at this cottage and hope to stay again. It rained the whole time! But, with such a cozy place to read and relax, listen to the rain and enjoy the ambiance it was lovely. I walked for a nice dinner at the Hideaway. I walked to Mt Gretna Mercantile for a few treats and always enjoy chatting with the sweet owners. I had an incredible lunch at Porch and Pantry. All without getting in my car. I highly recommend!”

“Our family decided to find a place to stay somewhere in the middle of where we all live, and found this sweet place near Hershey, PA. We were thinking about staying in Lancaster, but found this and changed our plans. Six adults and two young children were perfectly comfortable here and we still had one empty bed since we had a pack 'n play for our one year old granddaughter. There is a bedroom downstairs with the bathroom right next to it and then two more bedrooms upstairs with another……

“Perfect stay for our scout troop weekend at Hersheypark. The house was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed and plenty of space for our group. It was a safe quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the park. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and the downstairs much colder than upstairs but overall it was exactly what we needed, would stay here again.”

“Much older home with 2 bathrooms ,one on second floor and one on third floor . There was an awful smell coming from the tub on 3rd, floor. My son being a plumber said it was not vented properly. Bedrooms were all upstairs 2nd and 3rd floor, very comfortable beds and clean, Stairs were narrow and hard to climb for the older ones staying, especially just to go to bathroom. Only 1 parking space for property so any extra vehicles had to park elsewhere away from the house, We had to be dropped off……

“The water park wasn’t open during our stay on May 10-11th but the indoor pool was open. If you don’t have life jackets , buy them before going . There aren’t any available on site to purchase. I tried for days to reach front staff to ask specific questions in relations to my stay but no one ever answered. Once you’re there it’s fun. We won a towel playing power puff girls bingo . We didn’t dine in the restaurant but there were many near by. We also got discount tickets to Dutch Wonderland ”
