“We stayed at Old Alloway for a long weekend as part of our first-ever book club retreat—and it was a complete success. The house is absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it feel like a true escape. Yet, we were only 10 minutes from the heart of Bathurst, which made exploring the local area easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly loved our stay and couldn’t recommend Old Alloway……

“Beautiful property and stay. Rooms are spacious and lots of areas to enjoy. Stephanie was very helpful and generous with breakfast supplies. Garden and fire pit also a great addition to enjoy. Close proximity to Mayfield Gardens. Local O’Connell pub a short stroll. Cafe across road. Thank you for sharing your fabulous property. Amazing value and Highly recommend. ”

“Lovely old farmhouse! The beds were super comfortable, house was clean and tidy, the views were amazing. Everything was as described. The only minor issue was the Wifi wasn't working when we first arrived, but we received prompt attention and it was fixed fairly quickly. We had a lovely family catch up. Would definitely come again in a heart beat. ”

“The property grounds are lovely, both at the front entry and at the back patio. The beds were quite comfortable, including heating blankets to help fight the fall chill while we were in town. Also appreciated the eggs and milk waiting for us in the fridge.We were visiting Bathurst for my son’s ultimate frisbee tournament, so the onsite washer and dryer came in handy. We enjoyed the easy and beautiful river walk from the rental to Learmonth Park each day.”

“Far enough out of town and close enough to enjoy the sites and restaurants available. House was lovely and big enough to accommodate 8 of us for an enjoyable weekend”

“We spent 5 nights in this lovely studio which is located in a great location - an easy walk around Bathurst or a drive to rural towns. We would return in a heart beat!”

“We had a great time staying here whilst we were visiting family.We weren't cold at all even though we stayed in the middle of winter as there was heating all throughout the carriage and extra blankets if needed. Everything was converted/ upgraded to a high quality and we were very happy to stay.”
