"Easy access to the road. It's very nice and cozy. Feels like you're just staying at home. The staff are very accommodating. The area is surrounded with restaurants and diners. Gas stations and convinient stores are just around the corner."

"My recent stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Valemount was disappointing due to several room issues, though it had a few functional highlights. Upon entering, I immediately noticed a strong smell in the room, similar to dog or an old vacuum. The bed also felt quite outdated and springy, which made it difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. A major inconvenience was the room's proximity to a very bright outdoor parking lot light that shone directly through the window all night. I had to tuck the curtains onto the windowsill just to block out the glare. Furthermore, the TV was parentally locked for almost all channels, and there were no built-in apps available. While I assumed local channels should have been readily accessible, I chose not to call the front desk to try and resolve the lock. On a positive note, the TV was a good size, and we were able to successfully hook up our Nintendo Switch 2 to use it. Despite this, the room overall feels like it needs significant modernizing to meet expectations."

"was nice and clean but the listing gave the impression there was a hot tub. When i arrived the front staff mentioned that it is not open in the summer. having travelled so far i feel that could have been more clear on the listing. other than that the beds were comfy."

"This was an excellent overnight stay. I was travelling with elderly parents and my kids. The person at the front desk had originally given us two rooms side by side on the second floor, however, when I told him going up stairs would be hard for my dad, he immediately gave my parents a room on the main floor. The room itself was very clean. It's evident that the place has been fully renovated. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast ends at 9am which is early but convenient to have. There are a few other food options in town and very nearby to the hotel. We were just looking for a place for the night but ended up being pleasantly surprised by this well run hotel! Highly recommend!"

"The rooms were excellent. The only problem was the pool was ice cold not heated. The ice maker wasn’t working. Breakfast was ok. Overall the beds were very comfortable and clean."

"The Gatehouse cottage is lovely, particularly the living room, which is spacious, light-filled and nicely furnished. The upstairs is small and a bit quirky....the two bedrooms have no privacy doors and the bath is accessible to both rooms. So perhaps not for everyone (there's also a downstairs bathroom with a good shower). The woodland setting, lawn and plantings are attractive, although there's some road noise. The host and her husband were very helpful. Overall, what you're getting is a nice place close to the Mt. Robson park headquarters. That's worth a lot, because the mountain is really something to see, even by Alberta/B.C. standards."
