「Heavy frost outside, cosy inside. We had a great Matariki weekend - biked from the house to do the Old Coach Road and also did a walk up the mountain. House was very warm and beds so comfortable. I bought a few more wine glasses for the recycling centre to top up the supply Cheers」

「right by the lake and a beach with ideal swimming. The house has bush around which keeps it cool in summer. Being dog friendly was important to us. Well stocked and all amenities there. Owner really friendly and responsive. Recommend this place to anyone 」

「Had a couple of nights here and really enjoyed the relaxing, rustic atmosphere. Fireplace was a lovely addition and kept the place feeling cosy all weekend. Was a bit tricky finding the house in the dark, but as long as you know it's behind the front house, then it's no issue at all. Definitely keen to come stay here again.」

「Tha stay was lovely and easy checkin and checkout process. Very clean and there were plenty of space for 12 people.」

「Had a great time relaxing here over the weekend, location was perfect for those of was wanting a trip up the mountain and the spa was there for those who wanted to stay in the warmth. The only issue we had was bookabatch not informing us of the code to access the house, we had to call the help centre for crucial info. Wasnt a dealbreaker though, we will definitely stay again given the chamce. 」

「Beautiful place to stay, and I have stay in some of the best places and this is one of them, it’s got everything that we needed, location is great, parking space is awesome, books and games for the family was well thought off, the laundry dry room was amazing, nice touch to the place, very clean and spacious for everyone, we just love this place, closer to the shops and beautiful walks and scenery all around this lovely little town, and the people are friendly. We will be back again.」
