“Very nice”

“We stayed at Highlander Mountain House for our 5-year wedding anniversary and overall the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were clean, the design and atmosphere are amazing, and the location is one of our favorites in Highlands. We also loved The Ruffed Grouse and the overall experience of the hotel. The only downside was the noise situation during our stay. The hotel was fully booked with a wedding party, and unfortunately the guests in the room next to us were extremely loud both……

“We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough ”

“The room was great for an extended stay. We got there early and the room wasn't ready... no big deal but I don't think the cleaning crew was informed we left to give more time for cleaning and left without finishing, and not leaving some important things... toilet paper... had to request that... staff was probably wondering what we were using it for! But anything that we requested to help with our stay they tried to accommodate... would definitely stay again.”

“Hampton Inn & Suites Cashiers Sapphire Valley was top notch. The entire facility was updated and very clean. I was pleased with the staff as warm, welcoming, and helpful when asked about good restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and updated. This hotel is located only a few miles from downtown Cashiers giving lots of things to do like visiting the historical Zachary-Tolbert House. I definitely recommend this place and will be back as we usually travel to this area every other year. Highly……

“Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. ”

“Nice staff. Parking right outside my room. Basic room which was fine for my one night. Soft towels which I appreciated after a long day. Updated furnishings but bed frame a tad squeaky if you sat on it. Breakfast yogurts cereal apples and muffins available. ”
