Two minutes from Yellowstone Park Gate. 30ft. deck w/BBQ overlooking the river.
10/10 Excellent
"This was a beautiful home overlooking the river. There were about 10-12 elk across the river the entire evening we were there. What a beautiful way to start our trip to Yellowstone. The home was immaculate and perfect for our trip. I would highly recommend it."
"Lake Yellowstone is great for focusing on nature and limiting technology. It should be noted there is no WiFi and service is very poor in the room which can make planning excursions or gps navigation difficult. You also have to make a reservation if you want to eat at the hotel restaurant. Overall, the hotel was beautiful and wildlife was outside every day!"
"Check in was super easy and it was nice being able to save on travel time by staying in the park. Hotels probably haven’t been updated since the late 80’s, rooms were dusty, and most amenities had closed early for the season. It was still worth it!"
Wow what a view from the Barn on the Banks of Yellowstone National Park!!❤️
10/10 Excellent
"Our second time here! For YNP, we won’t stay anywhere else! It’s SO clean. SO comfy. SO well maintained and has all the bells and whistles. The owner (private, not some yucky management company) came over in-person to let us know about black bear activity in the area. Perfect!!!! "
"Canyon Lodge is centrally located to the upper and lower loop drives of Yellowstone. The rooms are clean. The staff were excellent. They responded to every request I made with a courteous and professional attitude. I’d strongly recommend staying booking a room 3-6 months in advanced. Since it’s a desirable place to stay rooms get booked quickly."
"Cabins are basic, but clean and well maintained. Mammoth Hot Springs is at the north side, but we didn't have trouble getting to the rest of the park. Dining room at Mammoth is excellent."
"We LOVED this place! So convenient to get to, cosy and comfortable. Washer/dryer was great. We didn’t cook but you could if you wished to. Saw a few elk just hanging about on our walk to and from dinner. Would highly recommend!"
