    Inside, you'll be greeted with a fully renovated kitchen featuring an electric oven and cooktop, ample bench space, and seating for 3 at the island bench. Plus, our separate dining area, with extension table, comfortably seats all guests, ensuring everyone can gather around the table for a delicious meal. Great base for a family event

The perfect country cottage

Merala is perfectly situated close to town and gorgeous walks. We could not have wished for a better place to stay. The cottage is comfortable, well appointed and immaculate. Beryl is the perfect host with us arriving early evening to a well stocked kitchen with many delights. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Beryl went above and beyond in her communication and hospitality, including additional touches such as toys for my kids to enjoy, a portacot set up with a baby towel, coffee capsules and pantry/fridge items. It’s a lovely country home with a cozy fireplace, and super close to town.
