Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort

"The resort is at a beautiful spot in Tuscany. The views are spectacular. The in-house restaurant is simply fantastic. We had dinner each night we stayed (3), and were seriously impressed by all 3 meals. The breakfast is very good as well. The olive oil made on the property is one of the best we’ve tasted. We ended up buying a liter. I also had a very relaxing massage and facial, that I highly recommend. The villa is 800 years old (!!), so it’s not your typical ‘luxury’ resort. But the quirks are part of the charm of staying in an 800 year old villa in a hilltop village in Tuscany!! If I may offer a minor feedback: I wished they upgraded the beds and the mattresses. Our mattress was not good in the room we go at check in, and when we mentioned it to the manager next morning, she graciously offered to change the room. The bed in the second room was a bit better but still the frame was shaky and the mattress was very springy. Having said that, we would still return if opportunity arises."

"Absolutely wonderful location. Beautiful pools, private jacuzzi tub, great restaurant, and well maintained grounds. They also have an organic farm and game preserve which supplies their dining program. The staff were incredibly kind and genuine. They called and reserved a taxi at the time of our check in for when we departed (the driver was also incredibly kind). The restaurant staff was kind and helpful at dinner and their continental breakfast exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this location to anyone. "

"Wir waren mit einer Konfirmandengruppe für 6 Tage im Casale Giotto und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Claudia im Vorfeld war sehr angenehm und die Betreuung von Laura und ihrem Mann vor Ort sehr entspannt und unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön auf einer typischen Toskaner Anhöhe, schön umgeben von Weinbergen und Pinien. Das Haus ist abgelegen und ruhig und es war kein Problem, wenn unsere jungen Leute etwas lauter waren. Die Einrichtung ist italienisch-rustikal, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass eine Selbstverpflegung kein Problem war. Die Nähe zu Florenz haben wir für einen Tagesausflug genutzt. In der Nähe des Hauses (ca. 10 Minuten Autofahrt) findet man diverse Möglichkeiten einzukaufen. Besonders begeistert waren wir, dass für uns extra der Pool befüllt wurde. Wir können das Casale nur wärmsten weiterempfehlen."

"We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Jacopo is a great host. He welcomed us at check in, gave a full tour of the house, showed how everything worked, and answered all our questions. The villa was the perfect size for us and our 2 grown daughters. After visiting Sorrento, Rome, and Tuscany, this was the perfect speed to just relax for a few days in the country. Jacopo set up a great tour of the Chianti region and a stop for lunch/wine tour if the Verrazzano Winery. The villa is equipped with everything you’ll need. We spent most of our time in the glassed sun room with a pellet fireplace. Our week there was cool, so the fireplace came in handy. Jacopo also arranged a private cooking class with a local Nonna. It was delicious, fun, and we fell in love with her. Highly recommend this treat. Overall a 10 out of 10!!"

"Our group of 10 enjoyed every minute at Torrepietro. Cinzia & Cosimo were attentive & fun. The tower was perfect spot for the “kids”. Property is perfecto "
