「Pat and Unawere both so nice and welcoming, and Poppy was just a joy! Also Una's cheese cake was to die for! Thanks for taking us to the bog. Your location near the middle of Ireland was perfect for our trip. Molly wants to live here now. I left my hammock hanging in the trees, You might want to take it down in the winter, but it's a perfect place. I also left the sleeping bag in case other guests want to camp in the hedge. Anyway thanks for that great stay, we love Ireland!」

「Eileen's was the perfect accommodation for our trip to Aughavas. Orla communicated with us at every step. Would definitely like to stay again if possible in the future 」

「We had a very comfortable stay in the lovely Gate House. The house was well appointed with plenty of space to make yourself at home.」

「We went with our 3 kids - 15, 13 and 7. We all loved the house, especially the pool table! We had all the facilities we needed. Checking in was easy - the instructions were very clear. We were visiting family in Cavan Town which is very easy to get to. Thank you for letting us stay and we will definitely be back again! 」

Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). There was also a coffee maker and there were coffee pods supplied which my wife made full use of! And there was a proper tea pot supplied and backup tea bags were available. 「It was a home away from home and it’s all down to the hosts who went above and beyond during our stay. I’m from Ireland and live in Australia and it was magical to discover this gem in Westmeath. Lots of lovely village activity but nice and peaceful inside. We all slept really well in the comfortable bedrooms and there was so much space in the entire house. Just a 15 minute drive from Mullingar town, a 12th Century Friary 2 minutes away and you can grab a coffee up at the Friary Blooms gardens 5...

It was clean and very comfortable with all we could need to be a great home from home. Would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a rural, quiet, spacious getaway.」
