格羅寧根市城堡

This hotel is close to the main market square. There is also a supermarket just opposite to the hotel. Everything is good except that it is a really small room. It is hard to open a big suitcase.

It was quite far away from Groningen train station (around 25 mins walk), but the bus service was convenient. The room was clean. However, the toilet lid was broken and couldn't be fixed despite the front desk was informed. As compensation, I was offered complimentary breakfast which offered a wide variety of food and drink options.

Polite and nice people at the reception. Love the place where we can have hot drinks for free and sit down and chat. But the room card was not working well sometimes.
