Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was during Tropical Storm. It was okay. The overhead fan in the master bathroom didn’t work. One of the remote controls was missing a battery.

Family Vacation 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was wonderful!! Amazing Grace had plenty of room and is in great shape. Everything was nice and screened porches were perfect for our young grandkids to toss a beach ball to each other. The furnishings were all nice and comfortable. But please, the owners need to replace the glass table in the living room. It is an accident waiting to happen. We used all of the blankets in the house and bungee cords to cover it up because we had a 4 year old, 2 two year olds and a 1 year old. We would recommend this property highly!! The pool was just the right size and the kids loved it. Pool chairs were in great shape. The fence around the pool was very nice and well maintained and was perfect to keep the kids from the streets. Our family had a fantastic time and a beautiful place to stay. We always rent with Garden City Realty because we always have a good, clean place to stay. Thanks!!

Spacious, great location, nice pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was easy to accomplish, house was spacious and in good condition, just half a block from the beach access. The kids loved the pool and even the adults enjoyed it. The under croft was great for playing corn hole in the evenings and served as a parking garage for bikes, golf cart and cars. The only criticism I have is there were only 10 forks and eight spoons, the tables and chairs on the outside deck were filthy dirty, and there is only seating for 11 for meals. Over all this is a wonderful house and we were so blessed to be able to enjoy the use of it for our family vacation.

House says pet friendly but we were charged a large fee because dog was under 18 months. NO grill and website shows a grill. HUGE inconvenience. Property was very clean. Living area would be small for 14 people. We only had 5 and were perfect.

Loved Staying at Amazing Grace

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at Amazing Grace. The walk to the beach was very easy and just a short stroll down the street. The pool was our favorite part, we were in the pool every afternoon. The screened in front porch was perfect for eating breakfast and lunch. We had a great view of the ocean and the sunset over the marsh from the top porch. The house was very comfortable and felt like home. Beds were comfortable and the house was roomy. Very convenient and easy to get to Murrells Inlet from the house. The house was very clean when we arrived and when we had one small issue the Garden City Realty was very responsive and fixed the issue fast. We would definitely stay here again and hope to next year again. It was great that we were able to bring our dog along with us on vacation. House was great and realty company was great.

Family Time

Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was a short walk to the beach with 8 grandchildren. We enjoyed the pool. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. This house needs a through cleaning. The mattresses are worn out in all the bedrooms and need replacing. For what I paid for this week I at least expected to be comfortable. I'm always rented from Garden City Realty and they are always helpful. Unfortunately they cant replace mattresses but maybe notify the owners. I would reccomend this property IF the two areas I listed were addressed.

Not real satisfied with this experience

Had to wait in heat for another rental, with my broken leg I needed close access to beach and channel. Got neither. Asked for compensation. Got none. Had to rent a $600 golf cart to even be able to go down to beach. Can’t walk. Asked for someone to check refrigerator. Filter light green but substance came out of refrigerator water. No one came. Had to purchase lots of water for most of week.

Amazing Grace on Yucca Ave.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great and beautiful. Pool, bedrooms and kitchen was spacious and efficient. We had problems with downstairs air, called and they were right out and fixed it. Short walk to beach. Plenty of parking space. However, the carpet going up stairs was dirty and not vacuumed. All the baseboards were dirty. We even had spider webs with spiders in our downstairs bathroom. When walking barefoot on the floors our feet would be black. So the floors, baseboards and bathrooms need a good cleaning! But we had a great family vacation and loved it. I would stay there again but their cleaning crew needs to have someone check behind them also we had no hand soap or cleaning soap in the kitchen.

But like all rentals it had some minor issues. King bed on the very top floor mattress is very thin and hard. The floors still had a lot of black dog hair from I’m guess who stayed before us. Other then a few minor details everything was great.

Not all sounds at Amazing Grace so sweet

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Amazing Grace met our requirement for a comfortable, centrally-located property. Our group of 8 (5 adults, 3 children under 10) had plenty of space - together and individually. We even hosted a dinner for almost 40 which worked well (the outdoor space helped greatly). The location is excellent; 1 block from beach access and a short walk or quick golf cart ride from the pier. The property was clean when we arrived, the beds are all very comfortable and the pool was adequate for our group.On the flip side, this property badly needs some TLC. Several of the chairs in the outdoor areas were rusted to the point that they didn't seem safe to sit on. A number of cushions were badly stained and the wooden surface of the decks desperately needs to be refinished. We had a number of splinters which had to be removed during our stay. The dinnerware provided was ok; utensils were a hodgepodge and there was not a single sharp knife to be found - we ended up buying a couple (which we left behind). The cookware was substandard; it was a real challenge finding a skillet with any degree of non-stick surface and a handle that wasn't loose.All in all, we would recommend this property; you can't beat the location and it will comfortably accommodate a large group. Dial back your expectations on amenities.

Plenty of room for our large family, and the house had everything we needed. Comfortable furniture and a well stocked kitchen. A few issues were resolved promptly, even when the air conditioning went out on the holiday. The realty was most attentive about suggestions for replacing certain worn out items, but none that hindered our stay. Looking forward to next year!

Amazing Grace - Needs some work

Reviewer Comments: Booking and communication were good, but the home wasn't cleaned properly when we arrived. It was obvious the cleaning team had rushed through our unit. Additionally, there were many areas of the house that were beyond worn and needed replacement. The pool furniture was rusted heavily in many places and we had to wash rust off of the pool deck. The mattresses and pads need to be replaced in several rooms. There was a smell of pet urine in the staircase. Also, there needs to be a much better check in process. Waiting in line with 25 people at your small office isn't ideal. Everyone arrives at 4 to check in manually and it took entirely too long. I don't need to bake in the sun for 25 minutes to check in.
