Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. Positive: The owners provided plenty of dishes, a bookshelf of books, games, and even some kids beach toys. Nice touches! The carpet was in good shape in the hallway and bedrooms. The balcony was one of the only ones that jutted out enough to see the ocean which was very nice. The condo stayed quiet to road noise. We thought the beds were comfortable (twins and King). The pull out couch is the nicest I've seen. My youngest slept there and said it was comfortable. Kitchen was a nice size and extra seating at the bar was needed and appreciated with a family of 5. The bathrooms were a great size (the back shower was very small) but the actual space to move around in the bathroom was good. There is a beach access lot one condo away. It had about 7 parking spots.The negatives: Very low lighting because there are no overhead light fixtures, no overhead fans, the main bedroom does not have very good air flow so it was warmer than the rest of the condo (even after adjusting vents), there are no bathroom fans, there ARE heat lights in the bathroom which when accidentally turned on heat up the whole condo (so watch that), the beach at high tide here is quite shallow. So at low tide there's room for lots of people - but at high tide it's pretty crowded. No tents allowed in this county on the beach (that included the "cabana" type and the Shibumi (although that may change) This is summer 2023. The hall air return (I guess) tended to be noisy. It didn't bother us really bc it didn't stay on for long periods of time...but at night in bed I would hear it. There is no bathroom downstairs near the pool/beach area. You cannot park a vehicle with a top cargo carrier under the overhang parking - we always had a spot in the general parking area - but we went after school started back.

The location of the condo is amazing with a great view. The condo was smaller but adequate the pull out couch in the living room was an actual bed and very comfortable. The place could use lots of updating but was clean. There are no spices or anything to use while there so make sure bring your own. Overall my stay was nice!

Fun in the Sun

I’ve stayed in this building 20 years ago but not this particular unit. The outside shows it’s age but this unit was beautiful inside. I loved the bright colors and it was decorated very tastefully. Inside was clean. The only suggestion I have is to replace the coffee maker. It worked but the burner is rusted. Thanks for a fun and relaxing week!

The unit is small, but ample for my husband and me. Everything you need ( especially a washer and dryer) is provided for comfort. This is a quiet community this time of year, and the proximity to the beach is a real plus for walkers. The unit is a bit dated, but it is clean and has been well-maintained. It was a really good find for us, and I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Reviewer Comments: Condo was nice, everything you needed but they should up grade there coffee maker look dirty and there vacuum cleaner very dirty and smells bad went using it the property who clean it the bathroom tub was so dirty and mat had mold on it had to go out and buy a new one and shower liners had to buy new one very dirty and had to buy cleaning supply with the pandemic I would thought they would be replace with each time new people coming in .. The condo over all was nice would rent again ,but cleaning was poor.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sea Oaks. The condo is in a great location, right on the ocean and only about 0.5 mi. from the GC Pier. The beach access was great, with working showers, observation benches, and a cool, clean pool. Parking was adequate. A few hiccups though... after we checked in and arrived at the condo, the rental company had forgotten to unlock our door. We had already unloaded and had to stand around in the heat waiting for the door to unlock wirelessly after I called realty company. Took about 10 minutes. The condo was furnished nicely and all appliances were in working order. The batteries in the smoke detectors were bad, so they were chirping all night our first night. The floors had not been mopped prior to our arrival, and were filthy. I called housekeeping the first day and she said she was sending someone to come clean the floors. No one ever came from house keeping, so we ended up having to spot clean ourselves. Bathrooms in the condo appeared recently remodeled and were nice. Lots of dust built up on the air vents and blown onto the walls around the AC vents. Overall OK, but definitely lacking attention to detail. I am not sure if we would stay here again, but I feel we got our money’s worth this visit. Dinner at the nearby Conch Cafe was our favorite!!
