Not sure if the owner had anything to do with the cleanliness of the room but the room was perfect again the only problem we had was difficulty with the TV cuz no instructions on how to use it with all the different channels when we did get something on TV it would always be interrupted by some stupid commercial I'm not sure what it was had red flowers frogs praying mantis rocks that was just interrupt the program I would not use our own room ever again if they're like this now I would like to use a room from Patricia Grand that is not in our room the staff there was excellent

Pros and Cons

Nice little last minute trip before school starts. Location was an easy $20 uber from the airport and plenty of places within walking distance to get supplies and eat/drink. We enjoyed the pool bar and having that as an option. They had some food too, but we did not sample. When we arrived we had one flat sheet on the bed and mattress was covered with a blanket. We also had 2 bath mat towels and nothing else. Front desk provided the rest of the towels we needed with no problem. Pet friendly hotel, which I am totally good with - but, dogs were supposed to be under 20lbs. We had a much larger dog next door who barked ALL DAY LONG. I guess his family left him there all day while they were out. I felt sorry for him, but even more sorry for those of us trying to relax. Clearly not a service dog based on the behavior. Have some courtesy for others - just board these sweet critters unless they are extremely well behaved. It will be better for everyone and the animal. Two air conditioners in the room but one did absolutely nothing - the bedroom was arctic (loved it) but the living room and kitchen were hot and humid. Bathtub would get up to my mid-calf during a shower and take hours to drain. We spent all of our time on the beach so these weren't things that ruined our trip - but it could have been better.

Very roomy, Murphy bed, let out sofa and King sized bed in a one bed room cozy suite! Full kitchen, clean, quiet and private with an ocean view. My kids and I enjoyed this room and location, this was a great home away from home!

The room is small but large enough for family of 4. Clean and what you see in the pictures. The living room kitchen furniture is dated, but clean. Would stay again for the price!

Last year, my wife and I drove to Myrtle Beach for our 23rd Anniversary with no hotel reservation. We found the Patricia Grande, stayed for a week and loved it. After shopping around quite a bit, we decided to book there again this year. Little did we know the property had undergone a "refresh". This stay was better than the last. We will be booking here again for our next getaway. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the Kitchen was nicely appointed. Even though this isn't some super posh over the top swank joint, it is a very nice place with nice front desk people and guests that are everyday people. Very home like, private and comfortable.

The room was great. The beach was wonderful. Everyone at front counter was helpful. Room could have used a bigger couch or maybe a chair other than table chair. We have stayed at this hotel in past. We already knew it is a great place to stay.
