Great Location Beach House

Great location, great pool, roomy, lots of bathrooms. Would had liked more electrical outlets and vents in the bathrooms and kitchen. Floor to ceiling paneling made the house too dark. Must be willing to climb stairs since the kitchen is on the top floor.

Admirals Roost

We were very happy with the house and location. The rental office was great. Very friendly and helpful. They provided almost everything we needed. The only thing I would add to the home is an outside eating area. Maybe a picnic table, pool level, under the deck. A total of 14 of us and we never ran out of space. Highly recommend!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location. Views were wonderful. Pool and hot tub were a great addition to the location. Close and convenient. Place needs some upkeep and updating. Issue with bugs, old furniture, and leaky spots. Team was responsive about sending someone out to check in issues, but the person often didn't come in time slot and was missed by us so we couldn't show the issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Admirals Roost! The house was clean and the AC was cool when we arrived. The internet worked great with 19 of us. The deck space and outdoor furniture was really nice. The pool was bigger than we expected and the beach was less crowded on the 4th of July than we thought. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed exploring the area. The size of the bathrooms didn't bother me but I would have loved an enclosed outdoor shower. We had a fantastic time!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the house and the location. Our biggest problem was the pool and hot tub. After many text to management, we only got to use the pool about half the week.The pool and hot tub was dirty and full of sand.They were unable to get it cleaned on Sat. or Sun. Mon. they worked onit and again on Tues.We continued having problems through the week. The hot tub wasn't working when we left.The children were very upset since this is the main reason we rented this house.The Fooseball table and air hockey table had handles, pockets, and the puck were all missing, so they were unable to utilize them either.They said they would replace but no parts came during our stay.When we arrived we took our shoes off at the door. After walking through the front room, our socks were black.There was feces on the bottom,front of the toliet. They also said before we arrived, that there was anew gasgrill. The grill was so dirty it caught fire and the controls didn't work. They did bring the new gas grill before we left.For the money we paid for the rental, I feel we should have been reimbursed for our inconvenience. They said the people prior to us had trashed the place.When you pay for apool and are not able to use it, it is unacceptable.

Great Property

Awesome place, great pool, and beachfront. Small issue with Hot Tub not really heating up, but in July it’s really not an issue. Everyone loved the place.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We has a few hiccups that were addressed relatively quickly. The house had some spots that needed cleaning and we did find several bugs throughout the week. The outdoor areas were excellent. The beach area was large and not crowded

Everything was nice .. quick responses on arising issues but taken care of quickly .. only thing i can suggest is curtains on windows even with blinds closed the sun beamed thru the bedroom window's making it hot

Dated house at excellent location

We had a great time at the beach. Pool and hot tub were big hit for everyone. House is dated. Rooms are small. Lots of stairs so not good for elderly with mobility issues.

Great spring break

The property was just as described online. The location was quiet, aside from nearby construction which is no fault of the property owner, and the access to the beach was perfect. My family enjoyed the pool once the heater kicked in and the hot tub was a relaxing retreat in the evenings. The views of the beach were great from the deck and the balcony upstairs as well. The kitchen was well stocked and furnished and the furniture and other amenities were great too. We would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing family vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodation was super nice and very comfortable. The pool and spa were great and access to the beach was very close. The owners were very kind and responsive to any messages and tried to resolve situations quickly. The home sleeps I believe 24 and we had 21 people with us. It was a total of 5 vehicles to transport everyone which made for a bit of an inconvenience when needing to leave because someone was always having to move vehicles around to get to the one driving. I don’t know that there’s anything the property owner could do in regards to that situation but the house next to us had a larger parking area where people parked to the side of the driveway. It didn’t ruin the stay or cause any negative feelings towards the owners but just leaving it here so others know what to expect with parking if traveling multi vehicle.
