Ocean Blue 401 is a beautifully updated 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom condo offering panoramic ocean views and direct beach access. Located on the quieter South end of Myrtle Beach, it's just minutes from Market Common, the Boardwalk, and SkyWheel. Guests return year after year to enjoy its spacious layout, large oceanfront balcony, and newly updated flooring and paint. • Booking Requirements: Guests must be at least 25 years old. We do not rent to locals.
• A copy of your driver's license and a signed rental agreement are required to complete your booking.
• No Pets and No Smoking (including balconies and property grounds) – $500 deep cleaning fee applies for violations
• No House Parties or Groups Under 25
• Some amenities, such as pools and hot tubs, may be seasonal and subject to availability depending on the time of year. Please feel free to contact us for specific opening dates and availability during your stay.
• Check-in is between 4 PM and 6 PM. While we strive to have the property ready by 4 PM, delays may occur.
• Ocean Blue strictly enforces vehicle restrictions: No motorcycles, trailers, golf carts, roof racks, or cargo carriers.


All cancellations incur a $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, and the Booking Fee

Cancel 60+ days before arrival: Deposit is refundable minus cancellation fees

Cancel less than 60 days: No refund unless re-rented; cancellation fees still apply

Love the room

The room was amazing and fit our group perfectly. The room was clean and was easy to access. Loved having two refridgerators!Honestly our only issue is not with the room but the property rules. The gate to the beach is locked from I believe 11:00pm and does not get opened until 7:00am. This makes hard for us early risers to get to the beach easily. And if you walk at night, be careful cuz it will be locked. There was a gentleman spraying the walk everyday at 5.45am so I don’t understand why it cannot just be opened. Other than that small inconvenience, it was perfect

Beautiful clean condo

Overall the condo was beautiful and clean. The location was nice because it wasn’t too busy but not a lot of places to eat walking distance. Parking is tight recommend a smaller vehicle.

Overall good. Needs a 4 slot toaster and electric kettle. Hand towels for bathrooms. Master bedroom needs a mattress protector and pillow protectors. For all bedrooms.

Quiet area

Our stay at Ocean Blue was good. Our room was clean, check in was easy and we had plenty of space for everyone to relax. The only thing I would suggest for anyone staying here is to bring extra blankets and pillows.

Beach trip 2023

The place was nice.It needs a good cleaning.I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies the first day.We had a baby that is crawling and his little knees and hands were black from the floor. We liked the access to the beach,(no steps to climb was wonderful).The place was a great size for our family of 12.

Parking is a problem

Parking is terrible. First night someone else was in the space assigned to our unit. No spaces available had to pay to park. Spaces are so tight you have to get all passengers out of the vehicle before you pull in the then thankful for being skinny to squeeze out because I can barely open my door. Then we were harassed by the parking attendant that we could not have our roof top cargo holder. Even though we were well below the height limitation. He threatened to tow our car. He then just paid to park elsewhere. We were told by management thru would reimburse our parking but they never did. Only stay here if you don’t have a car!!!!

Top tier

We have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this property is definitely a top tier option. We had plenty of room and furnishings were very adequate and comfortable. Our group consisted of my wife and I, three daughters, two son in laws, and four grandchildren. The property has easy access to the beach and we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools. I would definitely recommend this property and found it to be a very good value given all the amenities.

First time with large Family Group

The condo was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the swimming options and the beach! The adults enjoyed evenings on the patio. It was also nice to have the door to close off the back side of the condo after the kids settled down for the night! Plenty of TV's so that made all the kids happy as well!

Golf vacation

Condo was beautiful and in a great location, right on the beach and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We had 4 couples on our trip and we had lots of room for everyone in the condo. Loved that everyone had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates/utensils/glasses/pans and loved the double fridges. Had a couple of small issues when we first checked in but property maintenance responded quickly to fix the problems. Only small complaint was the bedding was very thin and didn’t seem to be very good quality.

Great space for large family!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Ocean Blue 401! The room was spacious and clean and had more than enough amenities to make our vacation amazing! The property manager was available to ask questions and report problems and issues were addressed immediately. I definitely recommend Ocean Blue 401 for families!!!

Great experience we will be back

My family and I stayed here over the weekend for our family trip. At first we were skeptical because of the reviews, but this place was amazing ! It was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. I would recommend this property! We will be back. Also the property manager did very great with communicating!

This property was disappointing. Shower was moldy. There was a hole cut out in the bathroom to fit the toliet. Middle bathroom did not have hot water. Beds were uncomfortable. Not worth the money.

Lovely visit

The unit is well cared for. It was very clean when we showed up. A few minor issues like tubs and sinks not draining well. The dryer did stop working but flipping the breaker remedied that. I also called the property manager about it and they were quick to respond and willing to send out a repairman. The pools are not awesome and seem dirty but it did not stop kids from swimming. Fabulous beach access. We would stay here again.

Third time to this complex. Wonderful vacation!

Place is very clean and quiet. Beautiful beach and weather. Only issue was lack of decent pots and pans to cook with and large bowls or plates for serving food. Nice set up with plenty of beds and seating. I would recommend this place.

Ocean Blue, October 2019

The condo itself is perfect! The view is amazing. The only hiccup was when we arrived, we couldn't get to our parking location due to the top floor being painted. The carpets were dirty and one of the bedroom doors had a hole in it that appeared to have had a fist hit it. I did call management to report these two concerns but had to leave a voice mail message and I never heard back from them. Other than that, it was a wonderful week!
