First Class

Superb accommodation. Extremely well-equipped kitchen. We no longer have to lug a stand mixer from New England in order to make cookies! Comfortable throughout the house. Roomy throughout. Guests can socialize or privatize, plenty of room for both We entertained up to 40 people comfortably for dessert one night and for takeout barbecue another ... three ovens to keep stuff warm and three levels for people to spread out with their plates.

What we loved abt Mull Cottage

We love Mull Cottage. It fabulously accommodates our family of 14 w Keith's sister's family of 6 or more, joining us each evening. It is always clean and welcoming as well as wonderfully stocked w everything we would need from pots and pans, to plates and silverware for the multitudes!We love the huge kitchen and den area w the screened in porch. And, our men and boys love their den- kitchen w the pool table. I think they stayed up very late having tons of fun every nite, I'm sure making lots of noise that I never heard! I want to especially thank Shea at the main office. She is so absolutely patient and kind as well as very efficient, answering all of my questions and helping me w the parking QR code. I'm sure I was a “pain in the neck” but she seemed to never get frustrated w me. And, if she did, I certainly couldn't tell. Only good things to say about our stay at Mull Cottage!

the bathroom on the hallway with 4 bedrooms - it needs some kind of privacy curtain for the stained glass window that is behind the commode, as well as the windows.

Great house, great location, great time

Very much enjoyed our stay at Mull Cottage. It has a nice set up for families with folks of all ages. The younger crowd enjoyed the ground floor bedrooms, kitchen and pool table while the adults enjoyed the spacious middle floor bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the entire top floor. And the beach is minutes away. The new elevator was useful but very loud and often needed to be reset to work.

Nothing else needed

This property raised the bar for my vacations. It's very well kept and completely entertaining. I barely left because I was so relaxed and content. Kitchens are the heart of the home and this house has a big wonderful heart. If you like to get out, there is so much to do right there from bike rides beach and golfing.

Relaxing and comfy

I stayed with a group of 8 women. We pretty much stayed on the 3rd floor the whole time, cooking, drinking wine, doing puzzles, enjoying the views from the balconies. The beach is just a block away. We didn't leave the whole the island for 5 days. There were bikes to use and I really enjoyed the 2nd level tanning deck. Will be back again for sure!

Family Reunion

Enjoyed the spaciousness and quiet areas of the house. Did not have a water view. Quick walk to the beach with filled wagon. Ordering a beach tent in advance is a necessity. Well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Difficult to tidy up the kitchen islands as not much pantry area available. Beds comfortable and air conditioning excellent. Loved having a golf cart available. Peace Rentals could not find our digital rental waivers or hard copies, so we stopped by upon arrival to provide another hard copy. Only one was needed after all. Agents were friendly and helpful both told different stories. Only used the pool and tennis courts once, but it was good to have a temporary membership to the Debordieu Country Club. Our other family house liked the dining. Spent more time inside the house than anticipated because of the heat. Glad the house was so accommodating.

Mull Cottage

This is the second {and last} time we rented Mull. Last year the elevator was out until Wednesday. We especially wanted the elevator due to my wife's knees. This year it was out again and they didn't get around to repairing it until Thursday afternoon. The grill was filthy, with old food caked into the cooking grates. My granddaughter found an empty beer can in her room. A pair of lady's underwear was found below the foot of one mattress. The wet bar continued to be non-functional. Finally, two seperate leaks were found during a rainstorm. One of them came in a window above the downstairs stairway, making it slippery and dangerous. Of course we couldn't avoid it because the elevator was on the blink. For what we paid for this place if would have expected much better conditions. I believe we are due compensation.

Excellent

As well as being well stocked,the owners labeled everything to make the kitchen experience easy.The house was nice and quiet for a large family. My only suggestion is to utilize the top screen porch better. We would have preferred rockers or comfy chairs out there rather than the tables.

We enjoyed the property very much. AC on the ground floor was not working well at first. Prompt service helped but it still lagged behind the AC on other floors. One negative- no outside garden hose to wash off beach chairs, toys, etc.

Dream Getaway

We have had our annual girls trip at this house for about 10 years! It has everything you need for a perfect, relaxing vacation. A private bathroom for every bedroom, a spacious gourmet kitchen, a large sunbathing deck and plenty of room for everyone. It sits minutes from the beach and is walking distance or a short bike ride to the pool. If you are looking for the perfect vacation for your family, girls trip, or special occasion then you must stay here!

Spacious, upgraded

We just left this spacious home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Our family has enjoyed staying at this home a few summers over the past few years and it always has everything we need for the perfect beach vacation, including beach views and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The roomy gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight with upgraded appliances including an enormous glass refrigerator double ovens and free standing ice maker, which all came in very handy for our large family vacation of 11 adults and 7 children. There was plenty of activities in the Debordieu community to keep our group ranging from 77 years down to toddlers busy - beach, pool, biking, walking, golf, tennis and wildlife viewing. The drive into town was about 25 minutes to site seeing, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. One of the many exceptional features was each bedroom having its own bathroom and shower, this was especially nice as we had many couples and small families, which provided privacy for everyone. This year we were pleasantly surprised with several upgrades throughout the house from new carpet and white washed walls on the downstairs level, to a few of the rooms/bathrooms with new wall paper. Our family has asked to come back to this property year after year for fun family get together's.

Year after year....I can't get enough!

I have been able to stay here for several years and I will keep going back! We usually have a group of 8 to 14 people and we all have a great time. It is always clean and it has everything you need. There are bikes, beach chairs, bocce, and lounge chairs. The view from the upper decks is beautiful.

Loved our stay!!

Beautiful house! Plenty of space with a cooks dream kitchen. Short walk to the beach is wonderful. Husband loved the golf course. We will definitely be visiting again next year!

Debordieu 4TH

Our group of 14 stayed during the week of July 4th. Ages ranged from 1 - 83. Awesome family atmosphere and celebration. Debordieu has to be one of the few places where an interactive, full scale water fight erupts between parade participants and spectators on July 4th. The house furnishings are very comfortable. The kitchen appliances in the 3rd floor gourmet kitchen are top of the line, but the placement of the only freezer in the house on the ground floor for a week long rental was problematic. Limited Ocean views are available but the listed "wet" bar is not plumbed. The beach is only a 2-3 minute walk away so the house is close enough to carry a kayak. The house is situated far enough away from the Debordieu beach club so that the beach was never crowded, even on the busy 4th weekend. The 2nd floor deck is an excellent space for games, and the 3rd floor porch offers a great view of Debordieu's July 4th Fireworks display.
