Property is very outdated. The linens and pillows are very worn. There was only cable TV, which was a little frustrating (couldn’t change the input to HDMI to stream or play video game). With that being said the room was clean, it is perfectly located on the beach (big plus), and the staff was very friendly. I know what to expect now and will visit again for a day trip

The Staff is amazing. The sweetest woman at the front desk .Room with a balcony ocean view at a great price. Wasn't worried about the pool or laundry. Not important to me while staying at the beach . Pet friendly and smokers abound but it was tolerable. Steps from the Ocean . Shorts walks to endless activities.

Had an ocean side room. It was the best room in all of Myrtle Beach for the price. It was also great for bringing my dog along. Loved every minute.

While this motel is indeed, beachfront, it isn't a place we'll stay again. Noisy and sketchy appearing clientele and some things that need attention. Positives: room was spacious and had a full size refrigerator, toaster and microwave. Front office staff was courteous, efficient and warm. Not so positive: Motel was far from full yet loud. Motorcycle started and revved to the max starting at 11:00 pm, room above us noisy with dog who seldom stopped running; angry man pounding on our room at 1;00 am. Police activity starting at 3:00 am continuing til about 5:00 am.Although we were wiped out tired we were relieved when it was light so that we could leave.Plus, no blankets, just a top sheet with a lightweight bedspread.

Never stayed. What I have to sayI cannot fit it all this little box. So I'll be brief the place was a dump. I'm sorry but thibgs in the room were dirty and things didnt work, like lights. I lasted 5 minutes in the room and i never took a bag up with me because i knew i wouldnt be staying. I put the keys back in envelope and in the mailbox and said soory cant stay here. They did refund my deposit.

Smoker's paradise. We are not smokers and it's listed as smoke free rooms, so we thought we were good. Outside of every room is chairs and ash trays, and the building hasn't been up kept well so the smoke easily makes its way into the rooms. The ocean view rooms have private balconies, but we were only able to find a few minutes during our trip we could be out there and smokers weren't out on the other balconies. If you are looking to see the ocean from the ocean view rooms you need to be on the second floor, there is parking between the building and the beach so if a lifted truck parks there then the first floor would not be able to see the ocean. Staff were very friendly in all encounters. Other guests were not, there were guests on the floor below us screaming and slamming doors until after midnight both nights we stayed, ironically the screaming was about other rooms being too loud. The pet policy is listed incorrectly on Expedia, it shows $15/dog/night but it's actually $25/dog/night. For being on the beach they do a good job of cleaning the sand out of the rooms, but overall upkeep is seriously lacking, with many drywall patches that didn't get sanded down let alone painted. All in all you get what you pay for, it's significantly cheaper than other hotels on the beach and there's reason for that. And if you don't mind a little rough and a lot of smoke this is a great location with friendly staff.

The price was great ! The people that worked there were very nice . The ocean view was great from the 3 flood. The hotel is old and in need of some upgrades. Our room was freshly painted , but the kitchen area and the out side of the motel could use updating. They do not have an elevator so you have to take all your stuff up to the 2nd or 3rd floor by hand. Unfortunately being older and having back and knee problems we will not be going back, the steps were just too much for us. Also they allow dogs which was great since we have to take our boy everywhere we go.

I checked in for one night of sleep before an event I am attending in Myrtle Beach. Staff was courteous. Then it got ridiculous. The walls are paper thin. The 6 kids in the room next door spent the first 4 hours yelling, screaming, bouncing around, and let’s not leave out the crying, etc. no adult supervision. Endless. About 9:30, the noise stopped - yay! Doh. Nope. Now I know why. The adults have kicked off the party, complete with wall-shaking stereo, thumping bass, and door wide open so they can share. One patron said , “I don’t give a f*ck” when asked to keep the noise down - trying to sleep. I have literally packed my bags and paid for another room at another hotel to try and get some sleep. Ghetto does not describe this place accurately enough. A 1-star rating is being overtly generous.

The lady in the office was an absolute doll but there needs to be attention given to the room. It was clean actually having a bleach smell. The sink didn’t drain well. There was duct tape on the wall and the center lights did not work. The outdoor patio facing the ocean was spectacular. Many 10s were given to this property and that confused me. I think a 10 is a luxurious property; this was nothing close to that. However, we did only pay $67 and we got exactly what we paid for so maybe that’s where the 10s come from. Dogs are great but only if they don’t bark - a lot. It’s an old school motel between huge hotel/condo buildings which is nostalgic but the place needs a major renovation. Staff were very kind to us.
