We had a great stay at The Shelby. The room was spacious and nicely updated. Although we didn’t use the pool or lazy river due to the weather, they looked nice and clean. No complaints about anything! My husband said it was the best shower he’s had in a while— the water pressure was great!

Everything at this hotel was fantastic. However, I did encounter some issues with the sliding balcony door. Despite this minor inconvenience, I believe a 4.5-star rating is quite appropriate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and stay again myself for future stays.

Place was ok. Staff was friendly. I did not like that I had to climb 5 flights of stairs due to the elevators not working. They went out in 2 buildings

Not the best impression as entering this hotel. Room was fine and clean. Bathroom small, bed comfy. Wonderful view. Pool area was ok, dirty lounge pads. Tiki bar was great! Great location on the beach. Parking was convenient. Seemed like the entrance and elevator area could have been cleaner and smelled better.

Michael and the lobby staff were very accommodating in person, but you are unable to get anybody over the phone. The cleaning people were apparently new and didn’t clean our room, just replaced towels. Allison, the bartender at the pool was great. Just subtracting one star for the cleaning staff and not answering the phone.
