It had an Onsen on sight which was nice. It’s a nice place and close to station. The beds are basically mattresses (futons) on the floor. This means very firm so for those who need more padding like my old body it can be a stiff night of sleep. Staff very friendly and for the money for 5 people it was great

The property is a little old and it shows in some areas but overall it was a great experience. The staff were all amazing and the bathhouse was excellent. Very short walk to the train and bus station.

Everyone on staff made us feel welcome from the start. Aziz and both ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and lovely people. We will always remember them abs their friendliness and how nice our stay was. Will stay here again. The onsen is fabulous!

Clean, quiet & a very cute location without tourists and crowds. My family enjoyed the serenity after spending 2 days in Tokyo and very close to snow monkey park allowing us to be the first ones there. Def recommend!!

Comfortable and friendly. I found everything to be as suggested. Well located with spacious rooms and a great spa. Continental breakfast included.

Its more a backpacks accommodation then a Hotel. The food provided in the morning was a joke at best. A doggy bag with bread buns that you have to heat you your self. Thats it. Rooms are old and the bathroom smells like s&@$. The two young staff were helpful and speck english. The public bath was good as well. The place needs to be refurbished into the 20th century. Sorry to say that. We read some comments by other explaining that it was traditional and all that but its very old and dated. Food sucked.

Lugnt och bekvämt

Ett stort rymligt rum med två futonsängar. Passar ett par perfekt då rummet blev rymligt. Härligt ljusinsläpp, enkelt - precis som vad vi var ute efter. Fina och bekväma yakatas som vi gick ner till hotellets onsen. Onsen var väldigt bra, könsseparerat och lugnt. Bastu, tre varma källor och en kall. Frukosten testade vi inte, verkade väldigt enkel.

Warning- beware of this hotel.

I have used Hotels.com for travels in Vietnam, Greece, Turkey, England , Ireland and Australia over the last few years and this is the first time that I feel that I have been cheated. The description and photos of the rooms are not just inaccurate but are a total and deliberate misrepresentation. Noting about the rooms was truthful and the hotel was in a state of disrepair, from cracked windows, chipped walls and a strong smell of smoke throughout the building. Although we had booked and paid for 3 days, we cut our losses and left after the first night. ( we would not have stayed even the first night but there was no accommodation to be had near bye. If you are considering this hotel look carefully at the photos and as yourself why they are miscoloured and unclear. This alone should be enough to warn you. Do not stay here.I would also love to know where the glowing reviews came from.

Convenient​ stay

Just 5​ mins walk from​ Yudanaka​ station.​ Japanese​ Room​ is​ pretty spacious​ with​ good​ pillow. Staff is​ nice​ and​ polite.​ Free​ shuttle bus​ to​ snow​ monkey​ park​ is​ available.​ Reasonable price for​ the​ room​ with​ Japanese​ breakfast.

Your typical onsen hotel. We're suprised with the size of the room. For japanese standard it is huge especially for the rate. Comfy futon and quite tasty breakfast.

駅至近にある大浴場付き旅館（ホテル）

湯田中の駅から歩いて5分程度。コンビニ及び飲食店は駅の周辺にある。また、ホテルの中にレストランが２件あり、比較的安価。また、ホテルの建物は若干古いが、大浴場は充実している（スーパー銭湯のよう）。朝食はまずまず。

La chambre etait spacieuse. Nous avons bien apprecié la section salon. Le tapis et les murs etaient tâchés. Il y avait toutefois une odeur d’humidité très désagréable et dérangeante. La douillet est fantastique, mais l’oreiller trop petit. Le personnel est très sympathique. Un micro-onde est disponible dans l’espace commun. Le onsen est tres sale et mal entretenu. C’est bien dommage compte tenu qu’il est grand et possède plusieurs bains différents. L’hôtel offre sans frais un transport au parc des singes que nous avons grandement apprécié.
