Welcome to "Pebble Beach"(KDH-14). This beautiful, five-bedroom six-bathroom vacation home has a huge rec. room w/ bumper pool, elevator, private pool & hot tub, ships watch, and great ocean and sound views! Cook homemade meals with family and friends in the spacious kitchen or jet to some local restaurants and enjoy fresh seafood.

Top Level: Very open and spacious, with both ocean and sound facing decks with great views, very large kitchen w/ 2 breakfast bars. Custom kitchen includes Corrian counter tops and stainless-steel appliances, dining room and separate area w/ breakfast table (seating for 15). Ships watch, Great room w/ TV/DVD home theater system, surround sound, powder room, Queen MBR w/ TV, Sound Deck and views and dual vanity.

Mid-Level: King MBR w/ TV, ocean views and private deck, 2 Queen MBRs w/ decks, sound views & TV, MBR w/ 2 Twin Beds & a bunk bed, washer & dryer

Ground Level: Rec. Room w/flat screen TV w/surround sound, Wet Bar, Full Size Fridge, Bumper Pool and Arcade Game, sitting area, and full bath shared with Bonus Room/Den with TV. Ground level leads to pool area w/ 12'x20' concrete pool, hot tub, bar, gas grill, outdoor shower.

Extras: Private pool (12'x20'). 2025 Pool Dates: 3/29/25-10/24/25; 2026 Pool Dates 03/28/2026 - 10/23/2026. Pet Friendly ($210 + tax pet fee, 2 dogs max), Private hot tub (6), Elevator, 7 TVs, 2DVDs, 2 CD players, 2 Stereos & Surround sound systems, Great Ocean & Sound Views, lots of decking, Captains Watch, Private Beach Access, Wireless Internet, Free Nationwide Long-Distance Phone Calls, Gas Grill, Outside Shower. No smoking. Saturday Turn Day. Beds are made prior to arrival and bed linens and bath towels included. 10 Bath Towel sets included with your stay!

Cancellations: If, after your initial payment, you need to cancel your reservation, every attempt will be made to re-rent the property. All notices of cancellation must be in writing. If the property is re- rented at full price, you will receive a full refund of moneys paid, less a $150 cancellation fee, travel insurance premium (if purchased) and all applicable taxes. If the property is able to be re-rented, but at a discounted rate from what was paid, you will be refunded your rental payment, less the difference in the rental rate and the $150 cancellation fee. If the property is not able to be re-rented, you will forfeit all moneys paid to this reservation.

This house was perfect for our family to gather for Thanksgiving. The space on the first level was perfect for the kids to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. We loved having a bathroom attached to every bedroom. Booking was easy and communication was great. We look forward to visiting again.

We rented this house to spend thanksgiving with family. We had plenty of room for all of us. The house is overall in good shape. We’d stay again.

Wonderful location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect space for 7 acults and 2 under the age of 2. Great location. Decks are in need of some repairs. But the views were stunning. Pool area needs more lighting at night. Rooms were large. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. There was a pack n play and one baby gate. I would definitely add a high chair. The beach access was a 5 minutes walk. We had so much fun hanging out in the rec room and playing bumper pool and arcade games. We would definitely love to come back!

Great Independence day Beach week

Had a great time with family at this house over the 4th of July week. The teens and young adults loved having the lower level to hang out in while us older folk really enjoyed the upper level with its wonderful views of the sound and ocean. Very easy beach access! Another thing to note is we were able to clearly watch the Manteo firewoks from the rear upper deck and the Nags Head display from the fron upper deck. Everyone loved this place and we would return.

Vacation Vibe in comfort

Our family enjoyed every part of this home. Spacious, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. It is conveniently located and perfect for our family. We spent the day exploring Nags head and neighboring towns, playing at the beach and enjoying our favorite food. The pool and hot tub were great for days when we were sticking close to home. We all agreed that it was hard to leave and that we would definitely be back again.

Overall Great... BUT

Overall I would give the location and property a 4+ star. Unfortunately, and likely no fault of the owners, their septic system kept overflowing throughout the week and at least half the days we were greeted with a horrible smell as we came out the front and crossed the driveway to make our way to the beach. It took us a day to realize the septic system was spilling into the driveway and running down the driveway and collecting at the end of the driveway. We promptly called and someone was sent out to temporarily fix the issue to only have it and the smell return before the end of the week. Again, our feelings about the property and location were overall great, but this certainly detracted from our overall experience.

Great Week!

We had a wonderful week in OBX! The house was very clean, spacious and organized. Plenty of space for 10 of us - (6 adults, 4 children and 2 small dogs). Lots of space to spread out, washer and dryer in house which was very convenient. Pool and jacuzzi was also very nice. Both very clean. Short 3 minute walk to the beach. You do have to walk up stairs and a slight hill to get to the beach - keep in mind when bringing a wagon - which thankfully my husband was able to beast up the hill - would have been a challenge to do on my own. This house is located close to many restaurants, ice cream shops and gift shops all within walking distance! Awesome spot, great stay!!

House was nice and in a good location however could stand to have some updates. Kitchen is not well equipped for a house with 6 bedrooms, didn’t even have a working can opener. Some furniture is in need of replacement and the decks need repair!

Wonderful views

We normally stay at Pirate’s Cove during our fall trip to OBX; however, this year decided to try something different. Property nice, views wonderful. Needed the elevator as my mom recently fell and broke ankle, so that was great for our family to have elevator that accommodated her wheelchair. The carpet had several pet “accidents” and under beds was very dusty. My only complaint really is the feeling of too many “fees”. When you rent a pet friendly place you normally pay extra to begin with, then they added fee for pet. Then they leave a list of possible “fees” if certain things aren’t done when you checkout. We have never had these in all our other 20 plus years of staying in Pirate’s Cove. Did love the closeness of the beach though.
