“Gaia has very clean and comfortable modern rooms, a great staff and restaurant, and amazing views. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I ended up staying there for two weeks in the winter of 2022. During that time, I ate every meal from the restaurant, and amazingly, never got bored. Both the selection and quality were top-notch. “This hotel gets five stars for its views! But its also clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you can, ask for an end room on any floor, ending in a 5...they have the best views. Only drawback, it's a 15 walk into the centre of town and not reccomended at night.”

Therefore, if you are on a budget, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. You can have lunch and dinner at a restaurant nearby on the left side of the hotel, making it very convenient. In the early morning, you can enjoy the sunrise and the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop terrace. I strongly recommend it.”

“Wonderful boutique hotel tucked into the old city of Bhaktapur! Unique design profile, with careful attention to detail in its environmental approach. We were given a traditional Newari welcome, and tour of the property, and found the staff very helpful with tips and suggestions about Bhaktapur and the surrounding area. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Highly recommend this lovely hotel!”
