“The cabin was exactly as listed! If you're looking for luxury, don't book here! Think of it as a "glamping" experience. Everything you need to enjoy nights by the fire, grilling dinner, trout fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting or kayaking, and just enjoying family and friends with a warm or cool place with a comfortable place to sleep at night. And the location!!! Absolutely amazing. Plenty of space for three adults and two teenagers right on the Nantahala River! We will be back!”

“Being so close to the river was an awesome experience. We rafted multiple days and got just as much enjoyment hanging out on the back porch watching others tackle the rapids directly in front of the house. “I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT.
We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable.
The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided so much helpful information on local places to visit for after our hike.

“That is on an amazing property .. it is naturally secure, safe, peaceful, and still very convenient to the Nanty .. Andrews... Bryson - and the gorge & area(s) in general. “Before arrival the owner, Michael, let us know details with directions, access codes etc. He was extremely helpful & hospitable! “As soon as I opened the curtains overlooking the balcony and saw the view I was in love. We stayed in that first night relaxing on the deck while watching the sun set over the mountain. My husband couldn’t stop looking at the view. When the sun went down we hopped in the hot tub and any stress that didn’t dissipate upon arrival was quickly melted away. I absolutely loved watching the fireflies and stars twinkle. The entire cabin was pristine and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a few rounds……

“We loved the creek behind the house. There were so many beautiful flowers. (Watch out for bees!) The kids were able to catch salamanders and crawdads. The firepit by the creek is in a perfect location. The smoke even seems to naturally blow away from the hillside, so you can sit by the fire without smoke going in your face. The kitchen provided metal wire marshmallow roasting sticks (very helpful). The hot tub was clean and in great condition. There is a great waterfall hike up the road.……

We even got some amazing honey from her and her Spouse brought it to our doorstep within 15 minutes! It is so good! “This little shack on a hill is so cute and perfect for a short stay. It is conveniently located near downtown Bryson City but its also not too far from cherokee. We felt like we were out of town but were actually very close. The view of the river was a great view and it was enjoyable sitting out on the front porch. Being summer and a short stay we didnt use the fire pit for any reason. ”
