We loved every second. Compliments to the ENTIRE staff. They were all truly kind, happy, helpful and genuine. If only every hotel had employees as outstanding as they are. We were so impressed! Nantucket is beautiful but this hotel and grounds were just as gorgeous. We enjoyed the bikes available, won the car for 4 hours to explore the island which was a treasure. Room service was fast & thorough. Room cleaned perfectly. Adored the front desk as they always greeted us with smiles & assisted happily with any question. They always went above & beyond! Highly recommend!! Miss being there.

It would have been 5 stars, but my wife was disappointed to find out she could no longer order regular buttermilk pancakes. They will only make “spiced” batter. It wasn’t great. Used to be able to choose, and they were always her favorite pancakes. Please change this back to the way it was.

The White Elephant did not disappoint. We stayed in a two-bedroom residence, and it exceeded our expectations. The residence was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and just a short walk from downtown, making it the perfect location.
The staff and management team were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and committed to making our stay enjoyable. We also loved the restaurant, which was outstanding for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch. The nearby pool and cabanas were another highlight, and once again, the service from the staff was excellent.
The only minor downside was the early morning noise from vendors working on the property, which occasionally interrupted the peaceful atmosphere. Aside from that, our stay was incredibly relaxing, and we would absolutely return. We highly recommend the White Elephant and look forward to staying there again.
