WoW!

Amazing stay at Palazzo Castriotta. Our host did everything to make our stay magical with recommendations for beaches, exceptional places, restaurants... a big wow. We stayed 4 days. The family room was impeccable and what can we say about the homemade lunch to be had in the garden and the lovely lady who served the coffee and welcomed us. A magnificent address for visiting Salento!

Not worth it, dirty unfriendly and area very poor!

The room was very dirty and full of dust when we arrived. The lady at the reception was unnecessarily aggresive, rolling her eyes when we asked her any questions and made us feel very uneasy. She was completely unapproachable and did not welcome any questions. We stayed four nights and no cleaner turned up at all. There was no kettle and we were advised to take the rubbish ourselves to the neighbouring bin area. One of the aircons did not work and were advised that this aircon never works. She said this is a good quality residence for the money we paid. Unbelievable response to a customer from a hotel/residence operator. Would not recommend to anyone. MOREOVER THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WAS VERY POOR DANGROUS AND FULL OF DRUNK PEOPLE. Not suitable for families!!!!! WHEN WE ASKED FOR NEW BEDSHEETS WE WERE TOLD IT COMES AT EXTRA COSTS and in any case NON AVAILABLE! One of the pillows had been ripped and had stains all over it. Receptionist said don’t use it but cannot replace! NO AMENITIES IN THE AREA! OVERALL VERY DIRTY, UMPROFESSIONAL, DISCOURTEOUS, UNPLEASANT, and NOT SUITABLE FOR FAMILIES OR ANYONE TO WHOM CLEANLINESS IS IMPORTANT! STAY AWAY AND DO NOT USE! Can provide photos if requested of the dirt our shocks collected each day from floors!

A hidden gem

This small gated complex is a peaceful and serene hideaway from the outside world. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was perfect for our little family to gain confidence in the water. Everything was made easy thanks to the team. The local area is very ‘local’ however the beach clubs nearby are nice and make the beach an enjoyable place to visit.

Zelden zijn we zo gastvrij ontvangen. Geweldig! Deze accommodatie is compleet voor een fijne vakantie. Het personeel is meer dan gastvrij. Je wordt onthaalt met koffie of iets anders. De uitleg wat allemaal kan (alles kan) is erg fijn. In de omgeving is verrassend veel te zien en te beleven, op natuur of cultureel gebied kom je volledig aan je trekken. Kort samen gevat, doen en geniet van de geweldige gastvrijheid!

Wir hatten eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Hotel. Als wir ankamen und die Kurtaxe bezahlten, waren wir schockiert, als wir feststellten, dass das Apartment, das wir gebucht und bestätigt hatten, an jemand anderen vergeben worden war. Stattdessen wurde uns ohne Vorankündigung ein völlig anderes Appartement angeboten, von dem man uns aber versicherte, es sei in der gleichen Klasse. Das Ersatzapartment war ganz anders als das, das wir gebucht hatten - kleiner, veraltet und in schlechtem Zustand: schmutziger Fußboden, abblätternde Farbe an den Wänden, ein Badezimmer, das angesichts des Zustands des Türrahmens und der benachbarten Schrankbeine mehr als einmal überschwemmt gewesen sein muss, alte Balkonmöbel. Sogar der verkalkte Wassertank der Kaffeemaschine und die gebrauchten Kapseln ließen darauf schließen, dass sie nie richtig gereinigt worden war. Zu allem Überfluss mussten wir, anstatt den Blick auf den Außenpool zu genießen, auf diverse Autos schauen, die direkt vor unserem Balkon parkten. Wir versuchten, das Problem über die Rezeption mit dem Gastgeber zu besprechen, aber sie waren abweisend und machten keine Anstalten, die Dinge in Ordnung zu bringen. Nachdem wir 5 Nächte in diesem Aparthotel verbracht hatten, hatten wir das Gefühl, dass die meisten Wohnungen an Langzeitmieter vermietet wurden und die einzige Wohnung an unglückliche Touristen wie uns vergeben wurde. Ich würde diesen Ort nicht empfehlen,

Molto consigliato

La struttura è davvero accogliente e pulita sia all’interno dell’appartamento che all’esterno. Le pulizie avvengono dopo la settimana ed in formula residence bisogna provvedere da se per tenere pulito ed in ordine. Il proprietario ha fatto comunque provvedere al cambio asciugamani dopo 3 giorni. I miei figli hanno apprezzato davvero tutto. C’è un parcheggio privato gratuito. I luoghi in comune sono curati e accoglienti. Unica piccola pecca è legata alla località che non è sicura ma rientrando in auto non siamo stati infastiditi. Sconsiglio di fare passeggiate nei dintorni la sera a piedi. Per tutto quello che concerne il Residence è veramente molto consigliato. Dimenticavo che hanno una zona bar per le colazioni.
