Private country hillside setting surrounded by trees, birds, wildlife pond/falls

This is a private APARTMENT that is the 1st level of the three-level 5,500 ft2 home. The owners live in the 2 levels above the apartment. It has its own entrance and is totally separated from the balance of the home. The apartment is 1,700 ft2.
The setting provides a feeling of being away from it all, yet you can get to downtown Nashville in 25 to 30 minutes.
The private 1st level of the home has floor to ceiling French windows with panoramic views of giant oaks, turkeys, birds & deer. Over 1,700 ft2 of living space with pool table, table tennis & Yamaha Keyboard. All seating in the great room reclines for comfortable relaxation by a wood stove. There is a large bedroom that has a King bed with designer fabrics & a sofa, with a walk-in closet. There is a large fully equipped kitchen, & There is a Queen bed in the recreation area. We are only minutes to downtown Nashville where antique shops, restaurants, & wineries abound. We are 19 miles away from the Grand Ole Opry & other attractions are nearby as well.
We have a beautiful pond with four waterfalls with a delightful sound of water. There you will also find a flagstone patio with an umbrella table with four chairs as well as two Adirondack style chairs.
There is a large private patio area with abundant seating that includes a patio table with 4 chairs, 2 sky chairs, a Teakwood two seat swing where you can enjoy the beautiful setting and views of nature. There is also a propane grill for your barbequing pleasure.
There are two TV's, a 55" and 40" flat screen, and a DVR in the living room. We also have Netflix. High speed internet - 50mbps WiFi & Ethernet.

The home is located on 5 acres with a hillside setting so you can enjoy walks on the property as well. We also have a long hillside paved driveway that has a flat section where you can walk for exercise. Additionally, within walking distance, a few minutes from the home, there is a beautiful lake and other awesome scenes that include horses., and a barn. there is also a new walking park about two miles east of our home.

Simple beautiful, tranquil property with absolutely amazing friendly helpful hosts. Very comfortable beds, coffee provided, nice spacious accommodation with a lovely country feel. We enjoyed shooting pool, and relaxing by the fountain. And the wildlife, deer, birds, chipmunks were fun to watch 100% highly recommended

Great location far enough from the city but also close enough

More than ample space for two people with all the amenities of your own home. Very pleasant stay and could relax at the property and did not have the cramped feeling of a hotel room.

Nice place for a stay near Nashville

I appreciate the full kitchen. The dishwasher worked well. The outside was nice for the teens. They loved the frogs so much! There were multiple places for sleeping including 2 beds, 3 couches and a queen blow up mattress.

Great little hideaway close to Nashville!

Loved the relaxing stay here. Watching the deer in the morning/evening was my favorite part. Close to some cool antique stores we went by, and close enough to walmart/target for our last minute needs. Will be booking another stay next time for a girls trip to Nashville!

Peaceful, very cozy and comfortable

Our stay was everything that we were looking for and everything that the owners had described. It was so peaceful and the wildlife was so fun to be a part of. The place was very clean and everything was provided for us. Its location is secluded, but Nashville is within short drive. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property!!

Very relaxing and convenient

We stayed with Gary and Christina for 6 nights. The house was very roomy, clean and comfortable. The location was a welcome and quiet retreat from a wedding in Nashville and party downtown the next day. It was very relaxing to sit by the pond and waterfall to read or enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would definitely stay there again.

The location was good and the host was tentative to our needs The only down side was the bathroom trash was full and did not appear to have been taken out for some time Overall the place was very nice and clean And the fountain was pretty cool

The property is beautiful, the place is clean, cozy, and smells good. Beds are comfy and there are nice places to sit and relax and look at nature. We missed the part where the owners are upstairs- totally on us though. It’s clearly stated at the beginning of the description, we just missed that part. It didn’t change the experience of our stay at all. The owners had brownies for us on the table with a handwritten note that felt so personal and was a great touch that made us feel at home. Would absolutely come back!!

Tranquility

We needed to decompress and this was the great place for it. Everything was as they showed online. We were surprised with brownies that were delicious. A hot tub overlooking that view would have made it perfect but we loved it and will be back.

Oasis

The pictures online don’t do this place justice. I sat out by the pond the first morning and was greeted by Deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, squirrels, and other wildlife. It is truly a peaceful oasis with breathtaking views and 20 minutes or so to downtown Nashville.

Magical Christmas getaway

Since my children are almost all grown up, we've been renting out VRB's vs hotels for more space and privacy for my family. We came to visit my cousin and her family Plus do some tourist attractions in Nashville. Your place was perfect for our little getaway. Loved the billiards table, my boys enjoyed it and the piano. The apartment had pretty much everything anyone needs for a successful getaway. The unit had comfortable beds, couches, blankets, pillows to make the stay more enjoyable and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful and professional. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some getaway place. husband and the kids.
