The Space: The Wood Shed is a one of a kind, hand-crafted tiny house, which includes shared access to a 10 acre woods and large outdoor area! Includes Country breakfast at Starstruck Farm 7 to 9:30 am! Starstruck Farm is my other property and it is located 3 miles north on Highway 109. Lots of sightseeing and photo opps there also!
Guest Access: Arrive anytime after 3 pm. Guests have full access to the entire tiny house and access to the surrounding 10 acre "Impossible Forrest" and grounds. The woods and grounds are shared with a handful of other guests.
Note about accessing the loft sleeping area. Warning - the loft sleeping area is accessed by climbing a wooden ladder. By reserving the Wood Shed, you agree to hold host harmless and not liable for injuries or death that might result from accessing the loft.
The Neighborhood: The Wood Shed is located inside my little "Twig City" property and is one of 5 tiny houses there. Twig City is a rural, but not secluded location, close to Gallatin, Lebanon and Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Nashville downtown is about a 35 minute drive down SR 109 and Interstate 40. All normal goods, needs, recreational and services are reasonably close. Also, the property has walking trails that go to the rough shoreline of Old Hickory lake. Swimming, fishing, boating and picnicking are available just 200 yards away at the Laguardo Recreational Area.
A note about the adjoining neighbor, "Blackhaven Wedding Gardens"...... Please be respectful and do not wander onto their property. Thanks! Jay
Getting Around: I suggest you have your own car, as Uber and other taxi services can be costly. Park free and then ride the Music City Star train to downtown Nashville! The train depot is just 5 miles away.
Interaction with Guests: My philosophy is to give my guests space. The check in is very easy and if you need anything during your visit please let us know.
