The National Elk Refuge is a beautiful spot for wildlife viewing. Take a horse drawn sleigh ride out to the elk, complete with warm woolly lap blankets. We even saw a wolf!
I highly recommend taking a sleigh ride through the National Elk Refuge. The guides are great and you get to be very close to thousands of Elk!
Another incredible spot to view the sunset in Grand Teton is the beginning of the trailhead to the beaver pond at Schwabacher road. Fall is a great time to visit, though perhaps try to come end of September so you'll beat the unseasonably early snowstorm we encountered in October. #hike #sunset #tetons #wyoming
Not too far outside Jackson, WY you can find the National Elk Refuge. The drive down Elk Refuge Road makes for a beautiful side trip on your way into Grand Teton National Park. When we were there, Mom and I spotted some unique wildlife like a badger, yellow bellied marmot, coyote and bighorn sheep while we soaked up the breathtaking scenery that surrounded us. #Wyoming #NationalPark
