“The host family is so helpful and kind. They gave great recommendations for things to do and eat as well as the occasional tuk tuk ride after dark. Highly recommend. ”

“I need to check-in in the mid-night for some reason. But thanks for the staffs. She still open the door for us. Hotel is clean is comfortable. They have hair dry (not much Sri Lanka hotel have hair dry) Breakfast is amazing! ”

“Very good quality for money. Warm welcome from the owners”

“Love the service, location and the competitive pricing. There are cheaper ones out there for sure but the service here is excellent. Though you may not need the mosquito net provided, I used it and felt comfortable. There’s no AC but I didn’t need it as the temp was cool at night. I would book it again for sure.”

“The brother and sister who run this place were very welcoming and even offered us breakfast even though we hadn’t requested breakfast. Very well kept and very safe ”

“Via een landweggetje kom je op een plek met een prachtige tuin en een groot huis. De ontvangst door Kumare is hartelijk. Het huis heeft zeer ruime kamers en goede algemene ruimtes, zoals een zitkamer/ eetkamer en mooie veranda’s. Authentiek ingericht. Je kunt ontbijt en diner bestellen, heerlijke bbq, koffie volop etc. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeer goed. Echt een aanrader!”

"Not the cheapest hotel but value for money. Recommended! Same as the picture shown on the offical page. Pros: New. Very clean rooms and very spacious. Toilet with both shower and bath tub. Sufficient sockets. Super friendly staff. Quiet place for sleep facing the greenery with bird singing in the morning. With balcony. Air-con worked very well. Breakfast in big portion, tasty and could try Sri Lankan style (fish curry, roti, potato curry, spicy coconut flakes) Cons: Shower water temperature a little bit fluctuate (but acceptable). Around 10 mins walk to the hotel from city center clock tower (but easy to find a tuktukif you dont want to walk)"
