"Simple, no hassel check in. We arrived late after a 5hr drive they were curtious and pleasant. Held our bags next day while we enthralled on a college tour. Vallet was also great and quick."

"Only two small pillows per bed , and when we asked for just one extra pillow they refused . "

"Bathroom was roomy and neat. However felt so unsafe with stomping upstairs and screaming from women likely being abused. Area felt like a zone for prostitution. Door had space in the bottom which allowed dirt from outside to blow into the room. Heavy scented smoking pervasive in bedroom. Sticker behind door warns to lock both bolts to ensure safety. This is not a place for any children."

"We had two rooms. Room 512 had a nasty odor. It was very difficult to be in the room, let alone sleep. We kindly explained our situation to the front desk receptionist and she absolutely refused to change our room. We had not used the room or unpacked. She said the best she could do was have the maintenance man 'spray something'. She even told us that the hotel was not full but she could NOT offer us another room. We will never stay at Candlewood Suites again."

"Classic historical hotel. Recommend staying in the garden area in spring. Very nice staff. Adorable cat Annabelle greets you in the lobby. Safe location. Bed was very comfortable. "

"Overall really liked the hotel. Fun decor and art, loved the toiletries in the bathroom, bed was clean and comfortable. A couple of times the staff was a little less than friendly, and we had a cold shower one morning. But overall we enjoyed our stay!"
