“Person at the front desk was rude”

“The room had a musty smell. I forgot my shoes went back 10 minutes later and after realizing I forgot them I went back. Had a hard time finding someone at front desk. Had to track down someone from housekeeping, and they already took my shoes out of the room. Have a feeling it’s a good thing. I went back when I did or never would’ve had my shoes because they said there was no lost and found.”

“Camelot is a very nice hotel in a beautiful location! Check in was very smooth - since I arrived late, my key was waiting on the desk for me! My 2 room suite was very clean with a comfortable queen bed. An evening snack and a muffin and coffee for breakfast were an added bonus. My only disappointment was that the cute bar was already closed so I couldn't have a nightcap! I will definitely stay here again!”

“Breakfast staff was incredibly rude. So discouraging. Refused to continue offering breakfast 30 minutes before buffet closes, really? If you're not open for the last half hour, then change your hours posted for breakfast. Also no need to be rude to customers. Cleanliness is okay. Could be improved.”

“Safety was beyond an issue. There were people screaming at 4:00 in the morning and somebody tried to break into my room at around the same time. My family went into the pool for the last hour that it was open and the kids were so rowdy that were there. You had children that were peeing in the corner and defecating by the pool. They will also throwing the mats that are there so people don't slip into the pool on people's heads. My daughter is from the Bronx and she even got out the pool. Nobody……

“Rooms smelled dirty and like wet dogs. Videoed a crawling bug on the bed sheet, cigarette burns on sheets. Linens unclean. One of the rooms key card wouldn’t work and they only had one key to open it which we had to go to office to request. Not safe , chain not available on door to keep intruder out. No amenities except junk doughnuts and few pieces of fruit. No cereal, juice milk. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Expedia should not advertise this place.”

“Check in was somewhat of a challenge considering there was very spotty cell service at this property. The room smelled a little musty. Toilet was dirty. No curtain on bathroom window. Comforter had debris on it. Tip for staff reflecting how the room was found. No breakfast included.”

“This was probably the best one-nighter hotel experience we've ever had. Staff was great, room was perfect, breakfast was good. Highly recommend this location if you happen to be there.”

“The bar was great- food was great, prices were respectable. Restaurant was a little pricey. Then the room rates first night reasonable, second night was almost a Hundred dollars higher but with out the air conditioning we had at the lower price. And we asked for free parking for our two day stay and the fact it was 83 degrees in our room , as compensation for the inconvenience and got Nothing. When you have to inconvenience your customers and you can’t do anything for them that is not customer……

“Very helpful staff, good price for the room and very comfortable, large bed. However, this is an older motel and it has seen better days.”
