"I gave the property a generous fair 3 star just because of the price and location. without considering the price, the good location and parking, I would give this a 1 star. Property is in a good location, close to amenities like grocery, food, tims, etc. We stayed for 2 nights. the property seems clean enough, but a bit sketchy. There was shards of glass in the basement bar so if you are planning on staying here, take a look at those before letting kids play around the pool table area. The bed...

"The property was equipped to meet all basic needs. The provided heater was appreciated. Cleanliness and property condition was standard. Access into building/suits was clear and convenient. The building set up did result in frequent noises from hallways and suites, but the host rules did provide appropriate 'quiet' periods for adequate rest. Notably, one body sized towel is provided for the entire stay."

"Hotel was clean, staff was professional and kind, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I had to say what I didn’t like it would probably be parking when underground or directly outside the hotel was at capacity, was a bit of a walk to get from their off site parking to the hotel. Also no stair access, was forced to wait 45 mins in lobby as maintenance worked to get the elevators fixed. "

"I did not actually stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I would still like to give them a 5-star review because of their excellent customer service. A few hours before I was scheduled to arrive, I got a call from the hotel, advising my that the A/C in my room was not working and that the problem would not be resolved before I arrived. Since the forecast called for hot and humid weather, the hotel offered me a reduced rate or the option to cancel without penalty. (They could not offer me a different room as they were fully booked that night.) After conferring with my husband, we decided to cancel our reservation. I was disappointed that we could not stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I was very grateful that they notified us proactively, so that we could make other arrangements. After such outstanding customer service, I will certainly plan to stay at the Courthouse Hotel on my next visit to Thunder Bay!"
