Also, it is a very short, easy walk from this ground floor location to the beach and adjacent restaurant which may be important to less mobile guests. "It was our 2nd time at the Ocean House. We love the location and view is amazing. We only ate dinner out 3 times in 10 days because we enjoyed cooking and you couldn’t beat our view. All the staff were wonderful. We had an 84th birthday party at Breezes for my father-in-law and they made the night so special from a wonderful dinner, bonfire on the beach and live entertainment. "This property is run down and neglected. The kitchen has mould around the taps, pots and pans and dishes old. No tea towels to do dishes. Very old fixtures. We didn't use the kitchen because of these reasons. The bathroom is a nightmare. Toilet is rusty and disgusting around the base. All drains are extremely slow and the bathroom basin had scunge coming up from the clogged drain. "The unit itself was fine once you were inside, except there was no TV service. However, we were not told that the entire facility was under construction. Apparently a new owner of the facility is stuccoing, painting and renewing the entire place. Our view out our front window was of a man on a scaffold 2 feet away, applying stucco. The pool behind the unit was empty, except for dirt. There was NO place to sit outside, workmen everywhere."
