“Our family had the most wonderful stay (again!!) at the cottage. The house is super comfortable and impeccably clean. If you need it Caitlin has probably thought of it and has it at the house. The lake is super clear and the gradual walkout is such a plus. Love the sandy bottom. Caitlin is amazing! She’s super responsive if needed but gives you privacy otherwise. You couldn’t ask for a better host. The house is so convenient to Waupaca so you can easily pop over to Little Fat Gretchen’s for……

“This cabin was the perfect getaway! Tucked away on the Wisconsin River, it’s private, peaceful, and full of charm. The porches were a favorite spot—we ate lunch overlooking the water, birdwatched (spotted over 10 species!), and enjoyed the beautifully lit backyard in the evenings. The property has so much to offer: trails where we saw deer in the morning, a gazebo with grills and music, yard games, and a cozy fire pit with wood provided. It was very romantic. “What a beautiful setting for a stay by a crystal clear lake! You can tell the owners take great pride in the place. They have planted lots of flowers and the trees are much more full grown then in the photo. Firepit. A couple sets of Adirondack chairs spot the hillside. Inside was spacious and clean and modern. Will stay here again! Visited mid-August, 2025.”

“This was a perfect home for a family get away. Plenty of sleeping space with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Being right on the water with access to kayaks was such a bonus. The view was amazing! We had a wonderful campfire (and s'mores bar) in the evening and having enough chairs for everyone was so nice. Close to the Crystal River Tubing where we had an excellent time.”

“We loved our stay - the property was clean and well stocked. The house was pretty with great craftmanship and wood details. It was clean and comfortable. The lake across the street was peaceful and we were able to watch a lot of birds and wildlife while we sat on the front porch. Everyone in our group loved lounging and reading on the porch swing. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Our group was in the area for a mountain biking trip and the owner was able to provide a spot……
