“I booked the smallest room, and it was small, no fridge,microwave or coffee maker :) Hotel is historic, so it has no elevator, it has some smell, key is not a card, etc. Reserve your dinner in the hotel restaurant, or wait time will be long. View from the terrace is great. No towels in indoor swimming pool, but the pool is decent size. It was too early for outdoor pool. ”

Very spotted carpet, dirty grout joints, unknown items stuck on walls around trash can, dirty sofa, very sticky floor, and failing caulking joints in the shower on the ledges. But safe parking and nice staff (housekeeper was the exception but she could have had something else on her mind when we passed).”

“It would have been nice to have more pillows considering there’s a big sign in the elevator about theft of such items including replacement costs. A king bed with two small pillows is a little substandard but overall the room was fine to sleep for eight hours. ”

“Cozy and comfortable except for very strong sulfur taste/smell in water (including shower). (We wound up buying drinking water to brush teeth and make coffee.) Lovely setting but a bit hard to find and it would be very hard in the dark and we really had to manuever the car to pull in and to be able to turn around to be ready to leave.”

“This was our second stay here - we just adore it! We love the heated floors - what a luxury! So glad the indoor fireplace has been converted to electric - we appreciate a wood burning fire, but this old home just wasn't suited for it. Nice to have the look of a fire in the house - thank you! Location is great - but you should have a 4 wheel drive in the winter. There is MUCH more snow at this home than even 4 miles away downhill! “I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world……
