"We loved our stay in the Balmoral Arms. The food was delicious (breakfast and evening meals) and the staff were lovely. Our room was very comfortable and the large lounge had lots of places to sit and relax. While there were no parking spaces left outside the door there was a large free car park close by, along with local shops and cafes. Great place to stay and hopefully we will return."

"With a 7 yr old boy and a 10 yr old boy. Swimming pool was warm and fun. Went to to sports hall for football and badminton. Next day went cycling. We had a little dog with us and it was no problem. All of Aviemore is dog friendly. Lovely time. "

"Booked 2 adults 3 children. To which we were given 2 separate rooms nowhere near each other. Asked for them to be near. They offered room next door but didn’t point out smaller bed and the most uncomfortable thing I’ve gone on. I’m slim and lying on there must have been an inch between me n bed base. Anyone slightly larger wd have been on it. Paid for 2 big beds. And not what given. Pretty disappointing"

"Lovely room, easy access and parking. Hosts provided everything we needed. Beds and bedding were comfy. Area is walkable and hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and activities. We had a wonderful relaxing stay."

"The room was good. Comfy bed. Clean. Breakfast average. Good parking. Check in was absolutely absurd. Arrived at 3:00 and did not get into room until 4.30!! It appears if you do not book direct you are shunted to the back of the queue and that includes Expedia They give you deals and then treat you like third class citizens. No explanations - no apologies. Absolute disgrace!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here and everything was as described. We received a friendly welcome upon arrival and were checked in quickly. Our room was spacious, warm, clean and comfortable. We had a drinknat the well stocked bar before dinner each night and retured for another after eating. The food was simply delicious at both breakfast and dinner with plenty of choices and special requirements catered for. We really hope to return for a further visit at some point."

"What a great place in the centre of Aviemore. The rooms were clean, everything was really comfortable. The staff were friendly in the restaurant that was attached to the apartments. I will be back What a great place in the centre of Aviemore. "

"Good stay, reasonably priced for half board, and decent value for money overall. Room very small with limited window despite upgrading to one with a window, although clean and functional. Breakfast and evening meal were buffet style and had a reasonable choice. Good selection of fish dishes for evening meal but no fish options for breakfast. Breakfast was also lacking any nuts or seeds or fresh fruit to go with yogurt and tinned fruit. Although good selection of traditional Scottish cooked breakfast. Easy parking and swimming pool good. Lots of things for kids to do."

"Lovely house. Images made it look remote but it’s set at the end of a cul-de-sac. This was perfect for our 6person family. Kitchen was well equipped however the oven trays need renewing as non-stick had worn off on some and greedy burned on with others. Cleanliness was good but as with most places, they don’t clean under to sofas very much. En-suit shower was weak, however the other down stairs shower was perfect. Game room/Garage was fun, although cold. Beds comfortable. Sun room was found to be more comfortable than the lounge, which we had no complaints about.All in all I would go back again,"
