Staff is very sweet, and hotel is very cute. I liked the cute breakfast and cute decoration. It is very clean too. I didnt like the pool, and bed could be a little bit more comfortable. But overall was a good price for the experience.

The cleaning staff did a great job every day and the front desk staff were mostly friendly and helpful depending upon who was manning the desk. This was our 4th visit to this hotel, the first 2 times were when it was a Mercure. It has obviously changed since it became the Hommage and continues to slowly recover from hurricane damage, like the rest of the island. They were installing new larger screen TVs in all the rooms during our stay. The beachfront is slowly being rebuilt with new palm tree saplings and a couple of hammocks. The restaurant appears to be an independent operation from the hotel itself. The rooms are nice, hotel service and amenities are few, the beachfront is improving, the pool remains the same.

First of all they only take EUR, the change points had already closed so I had to drive around with my two teenagers and ask persons to change our USD to Euro for us which was high risk. The stores wouldn't change it either. That was the 1st inconvenience. The second inconvenience was the harrassment and the amount of hours to get the amount of Euro needed just for 1 night. The third inconvenience, finally checking in to arrive to the room to realize that the television was not televising anything. The fourth inconvenience, realizing there was no iron or ironing board in the room. The fifth inconvenience, there was no microwave or toaster oven for reheating or food preparation. The sixth inconvenience, noticing that the refrigerator was on the balcony and the sliding door directly on that side was not opening. After an exhausting evening due to our travels and driving around to change our funds, the following morning, we tried to move the furniture from infront of the other sliding door which we were succesfully able to open. The seventh inconvenience, hearing intoxicated folks along the corridor talking and arguing while going to or leaving their rooms at any given hour.

Our stay at Hommage Hotel & Residences was exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautifully designed, modern, and immaculately maintained, with a calm and upscale atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed. The rooms and residences are spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details that make both short and extended stays equally enjoyable. What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout our stay, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The owners were also incredibly kind, approachable, and genuinely welcoming, which added a very personal touch and made us feel truly valued as guests. The pool area is stunning and well maintained, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind, while the surrounding views enhance the peaceful, resort-style atmosphere. The location is ideal quiet and private, yet conveniently close to beaches, restaurants, and major attractions. Hommage Hotel & Residences offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking for a refined and relaxing stay in St. Maarten. I accidentally paid for the room trying to book for another date. They would not refund me or move it to the dates that I was trying to book. It was obvious that I made the mistake because it was the same day. I contacted them as soon as I did it. They could have changed it for the days I wanted. Now I'm out of money that I cannot get back or afford. It sucks, because I really wanted to stay there.

I was extremely disappointed with the service at the Hommage Hotel in St. Maarten, specifically from the front desk staff. We arrived around 3 PM, understanding that official check-in was at 4 PM. When we arrived, the young lady at the front desk told us it would only take about 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Unfortunately, that 30 minutes turned into almost four hours, and we did not receive our room until 7 PM. There was very poor communication throughout this entire process. We received no updates unless we went back to the front desk ourselves, and we had to go up there three separate times before they finally paid attention to us and gave us our room keys. This delay completely ruined our day, especially considering how much money we paid to stay here. To make matters worse, it felt as though the front desk staff prioritized accommodating pilots over paying hotel guests. As compensation for the excessive wait, we were offered one free drink at the restaurant, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. After such a long delay, at the very least, dinner should have been comped. I do want to note that the hotel itself, housekeeping, and cleaning staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the front desk experience overshadowed what could have been a great stay. Management seriously needs to address and improve the front desk service, as it does not reflect the quality of the rest of the hotel.

DEFINITELY oversold themselves. Very little within walking distance, so if you don’t rent a car be prepared to pay for a taxi everywhere. I’d recommend the SXM taxi app over their shuttle service, theirs over charges you. Restaurant on property is ok, menu never changes though and it was highly over priced. NO BEACH. It’s a “beach” into the bay that looks nasty, wouldn’t recommend. Their breakfast is horribly overpriced for what you get, so go to the bakery down the street instead. Mezza Luna restaurant down the street is great, but you almost always need reservations for dinner.

- On the last night of my stay, the hotel had a plumbing issue, and my room did not have running water. Nobody notified me of this; I found out when my toilet stopped flushing. I was only informed of the issue when I went to the front desk. They offered me to use the (cold water only) employee shower, which I appreciate, but I still was left with no functional bathroom for the remaining hours of my stay. The hotel really should have been pro-active by calling my room or my cellphone to inform me of the issue. - My room was supposed to have a mini-refrigerator and a coffee pot; it had neither. - Overall, the hotel grounds are nice. I like the sculptures that they have. But I would not return, based upon my poor experience.

Absolutely beautiful property and room. The shower was modern and huge. The staff were kind and friendly even though my French was limited. The grounds and pool areas were superb, breathtaking and filled with unique sculptures. I enjoyed relaxing in a hammock on the beach. Loved every minute there. I am planning to to stay there again.
