“We had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Shack. The location, just 3kms to Millthorpe, was ideal. Locating and accessing the property was easy. It is very private and quiet, with lots of outdoor space to roam. We had fun playing soccer and wandering through the grove of trees. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and the BBQ outside and enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fires. Would highly recommend a stay at The Shack for a quiet relaxing break.”

“Stunning property. Beautiful home. Very comfortable. My only feedback is that there should be more bakeware for the wonderful oven and front door code tricky for those unfamiliar with the system. Beds deliciously comfy. Lots of different “break out” rooms. Enormous yard. We’ll be back.”

“We had a lovely long weekend at Exeter Cottage. Driving down the tree-lined driveway with all the Autumn colours showing was beautiful. The cottage is tucked away by gorgeous hedges and gardens, making it lovely and private. The lounge area and beds were extremely comfortable. With only 10 minutes to Orange and 15 minutes to Millthorpe, it was a great location in the very quiet and scenic countryside.”

“Very clean and well appointed. Lots of nice touches like flowers and shampoo and conditioner. Milk in fridge on arrival. Nice quiet location and not far to the local pub that served good food at great value. Overall a very pleasant experience”

“We had a fantastic 3 days at this beautiful, historic and quaint little cottage. The location is stunning, the house is very comfortable and Kayley couldn't have bern more helpful and accommodating. A great little find to which we look forward to returning. PS - to the owners: PLEASE don't renovate this place! As an interior designer, I can honestly say that it would break my heart to see a modern kitchen put in and all the little quirks in the house ironed out - it's the not 'perfect' details……

“Loved it; beautiful house in nice location but still only 20 minutes from Cowra. Attractions include Lachlan River, Wyangala Dam and Milky Way overhead. Only suggestion would be a wall heater in the bathroom.”
