Quiet Gruene Getaway
2 miles from historic Gruene, this beautifully renovated house sits on a cul-de-sac and offers a safe and comfortable home base for your travels in and around New Braunfels.
Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this centrally-located home. Entertainment, shopping, and more are a few minutes away. With I-35 just over a half mile away, it’s also an easy commute to any neighboring city.
Our house is also perfect for monthly stays & corporate rentals. We offer weekly and monthly discounts.
Our 1,000 square foot home has a spacious and luxurious feel from its recent renovation. It’s open floor plan provides comfortable living for up to 6 guests. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with one of the bathrooms attached to the master bedroom.
The house also has a full kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook meals during your stay (pots, pans, spices, flour, sugar, and other cooking essentials). There is also a large refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Dishwasher soap and hand washing dish soap are provided.
The coffee bar offers a dual coffee maker for brewing a whole pot of coffee or individual k-cups. Coffee and an assortment of creamers and sugar are also provided.
The cozy dining room has a table that can seat up to 6 people with additional seating at the extended kitchen counter bar area with 3 comfortable bar stools.
The living room has a 55” Roku TV (we do not have live TV, satellite, or cable) and a pull out full size sofa bed. In addition to the sofa, there are 2 armchairs for seating. We also have a few board games and card games for your enjoyment on rainy days or when you just feel like having a lazy day at the house.
The backyard is fully fenced-in and has a fire pit with 4 lounge chairs. The back patio also has 2 chairs with a side table.
There is also a full size washer and dryer located in the single-car garage. Laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets are provided.
The driveway offers space for parking 2 cars in addition to the single-car garage.
Guests will have full access to the house and fenced backyard without any shared spaces.
We live in New Braunfels and are available to assist our guests with anything you may need. Please feel free to contact us via text or phone with any questions you may have about the house or the area. We are also available to help with any suggestions you may need on where to eat or what to do in New Braunfels and the surrounding areas.

Although guests could easily walk the 2 miles to Gruene, a car or uber is recommended. There are not sidewalks on every street, but parking is plentiful around town.
Our house is also perfect as a corporate rental or for traveling nurses and professionals of any industry. We offer weekly and monthly discounts.
- Please remember we are not a huge hotel chain that can afford to repair damages after every guest. It's just my husband and I who own and operate this lovely home that we have thoughtfully prepared for you to enjoy. Please behave like a responsible adult and treat this home like it was your own.
- Please don't use things in ways they weren't meant to be used (i.e. using a knife as a screwdriver - I still haven't been able to get my husband to stop doing that, by the way... 😳 any suggestions??? 🤷🏼♀️ )
- Please immediately report anything that gets accidentally broken so that we can replace the item for our next guests. Fees will not be charged for minor breakage like a single dish or glassware; accidents happen. However, if there is damage to the house or any item that costs more than $20 to replace, appropriate fees will be assessed to cover the cost of replacement.
- Please be considerate of the neighbors. They live here long-term. This is a quiet street and the neighbors would appreciate it if it stayed that way. Any loud music, yelling, or other unnecessarily loud noises could potentially end your stay early. Also, please observe quiet time from 10:00pm to 7:00am.
- Pets are allowed - 2 maximum. Pets must be well behaved and potty trained. Pets are not to be left in the home or backyard alone. Please crate your pets in the house or board them at a local boarding facility while you are away. Please contact us for referrals, if needed.
- If it is found that an unreported pet is on the property, an additional $150 fee will be assessed in addition to the $100 non-refundable pet fee.
- Confetti or silly string are not allowed anywhere on the property. These are just too difficult to completely clean up (just picture it… on our hands and knees picking it out of the grass or rugs. Not an easy task. 🤪 )
- Candles are not allowed on the property. There is one flameless candle provided, if you need more, please buy that type - flameless.
