“We chose this property as we were in town for a funeral and there are no hotels nearby. The apartment is nice, roomy, and well-appointed. It has been decorated with flair. The stairs are a bit steep, but that is due to the age of the building. There were wireless phone chargers and smart watch chargers on each floor which was convenient.The bathroom was very tiny, but again in keeping with the age of the building.The location is good with several restaurants within walking distance.A thoughtful……

“We made several meals here and entertained family. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The living room is also very comfortable. The apartment has lots of natural light. The location is walking distance to a park and the center of town. It was a delightful stay. ”

“This is a charming 2 room (with bathroom) walk out apartment with a kitchenette (full size refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove top, etc.). It's a perfect spot for a couple to spend a few days exploring the area. Apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood that is about 5 minutes from downtown restaurants & 4 minutes from a full service grocery store. ”

“I'm local to Wilmington and stayed here with my husband while our bathroom was being renovated. The apartment is adorable and in a great location, Trolley Square. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Parking can be tough, but it's a safe neighborhood, so to park a block away isn't a problem. This would be a good place to stay for someone who needed to be in Wilmington for business (there's a desk in the living room, and the wifi seemed reliable) or a couple coming here for an event or to check out……

“This unit is very much as depicted in photos on VRBO site. The neighborhood is interesting and feels safe, and the unit itself is very authentic to residential multi units built, I'm guessing, about 100 years ago. We recommend this place. ”

“I'll say up front that I should have looked closer at the listing. We were trying to be close to family. So, location sold us on it. Pros: This property is in a good location/quiet street. The unit itself was clean. The double bed was comfortable The communication/check-in/etc. were all ok. Cons: On-street parking is challenging. The property is in an old building and it shows. The unit has been painted, but it still felt very run-down. Common/Entry hallway smelled of tobacco ... ”
