“Positives: Three bedrooms; great water pressure in the bathroom (it felt like a massage and a shower); within a mile of pretty much everything we wanted to see/do; close to the train station (close enough to walk).Negatives: No TV, microwave, glasses, or bowls (granted they weren't listed under amenities, but these seem like they should be pretty standard; loud neighbors and paper-thin walls (we were in bed by 10 PM, seems like everyone else was getting up at 11 PM to 'go out'; area wasn't……

“The apartment was adequate - the listing, however, is misleading in regard to having a washer and dryer, which are not in the rental. I also think that if the renter is paying a cleaning fee (which we were and which was higher than the nightly rental rate), we shouldn't be asked to strip the beds and to take out the trash, which we were asked to do repeatedly in messages from the host. Overall, not a great experience.”

“The Good - host check-in information was organized, communicated well, listing was accurate, space clean and nicely decorated, bed, pillows, and linens SUPER comfortable, pet friendly, kitchen well equipped, nice bottle of wine waiting for us!The Not as Good - unloading was a challenge because it was difficult to find street parking nearby, the area around the building is not so great and we were a little nervous walking our dog late at night, and building feels more like a dorm and is high……

“The pre-arrival email stated that the lock code to enter the unit would arrive “24 hours before check-in..” it did not. When enquiring the morning of the trip we were informed that the code would be sent “by noon.” This created anxiety in that we had to set out for the location without certainty that we had access to the site when we arrived.Upon arrival, access to the unit required climbing up stairs and then downstairs into the unit which we found difficult as an elderly couple. “This is a cozy apartment, and the hosts respond very quickly to texts. Case in point, I modified my stay to arrive a day earlier, but the system didn't update the code to unlock the doors. When I texted the problem, they resolved the glitch quickly. I loved the neighborhood and walking around Wooster Square.”
