Fabulous as before

This is one of the nicest properties I have stayed in. Excellent relaxing location, with good friendly restaurants close by. The apartment is very clean , and well serviced. The view even on a rainy day is pleasant, and nearby walking sites are beautiful

One of the best

A superb apartment. The views of the sea and mountains from the terrace was amazing. The apartment was excellent, well equipped spotlessly clean, ideal for 4people. Dundrum is an ideal spot to explore the area with some lovely walks straight out of the apartment. Very highly recommended!

Relaxed Mourne delight.

All the facilities provided were excellent.The sitting out area looking over the bay to the rolling Mountains of Mourne ( in lovely sunshine! ) was perfect.The Kitchen facilities were also first rate.We hope to be back again maybe next year

Beautiful tranquil location, where you have the background of Slieve Donard and Mourne mountains looking across Dundrum inner estuary. Then simply watching as the tide ebbs and flows back into the estuary is amazing. As the tide rises towards the weekends the rowing club assembles and rows across in front of the balcony.

Showing our English friends who live in the French Alps some real mountains!

Our friends were blown away by the views from Water's Edge, with the constant rise and fall of the tides in Dundrum Bay and the spectacular vista of the Mournes (we were already very familiar with the view, as it was our 11th visit). They loved the Mourne Sea-food Bar, and Daft Eddie's on Sketrick Island. Other highlights of their visit were the Titanic museum and the Antrim Coast/Causeway. We managed to fit in a couple of concerts by the Ulster Orchedtra in Belfast. A lovely holiday, made even better by 10 days of brilliant sunshine!

Christmas Break

An excellent holiday apartment. My niece and I enjoyed our stay there. Weather was very pleasant and my niece enjoyed many walks around Dundrum. We had beautiful meals, especially at The Bucks Head in centre of village. We shall be looking to return again for a break.

Home away from home with a spectacular view!

We highly recommend this apartment. I almost don't want to give this review so that it is still available next time we visit! The view in the morning is amazing with a great wee garden to sit and take it all in with a cuppa. Great walks nearby. I highly recommend a visit up to Dundrum Castle for the view. The location is perfect for day trips. Very clean and plenty of space. All that was needed was provided.

Beautiful location.

Beautiful location and central to see the forest parks and castles and take beach walks and shop. We had a big maintenance issue which we understand has been fixed by the owner. Their communication about it was good. One of the twin beds is only comfortable for a child or very small adult. It was much narrower than the other twin. One of my friends was small so it was ok , .but not ideal. A headboard might help. You can’t beat the location and view.

Comfortable, relaxing stay, one to return to.

We are sure many of us will agree with this, the majority of self catering lets are not very comfortable. This property is an exception and we found the seats and beds comfortable all the way through our stay. The apartment is a great size. VRBO app did not work very well after we made the booking and payments. Communication from the host, which started with less than a week to the booking, was fantastic. Clear directions and guidance to get us to and settled into the property was very reassuring.

Relaxing Stay at Dundrum

No 47 is a well-equipped flat in a lovely location. The views from the lounge are beautiful. We enjoyed plenty of walks around the Lough, and found watching the varying atmosphere of the bay with changing tides and weather mesmerising. The local fish and chips were excellent and a rare treat!

Lovely location facing the Mountains of Mourne. This is a well equipped apartment for self catering although there are many good restaurants in the area too. An ideal base for touring both Northern and Southern Ireland.

Comfortable apartment in spectacular location

Comfortable, quiet, & convenient to Mourne Mountain Coastal/Upper Routes & sites. Modern kitchen & bath. Washer/dryer but no dishwasher. The patio view of the mountains is grand & framed nature photographs lovely. One block walk to Dundrum’s businesses & easy walk to Dundrum Castle.
