“Promo photo misleading. tiny concrete block Fireplace outside our 1bedroom unit different to photo. No firewood supplied to light up if we wanted to. The unit is only 10-15 mtr from larger rental house on property where large fire pit is!House occupied by a number of noisy intoxicated blokes who partied to early hours of the morning. Arakoon road is main road which is very busy and noisy. The unit is close to road , maybe 20 Mtr and it feels like traffic is just outside the window. Killer pond……

“We booked, based on dates for family reunion. Dates changed, but owner could not grasp that booking was for 2023, not 2022. He declined to change, so cousin booked necessary dates and we shared the house. Owner was most amenable to this. My family had stayed in this house, several times, when my sister and I were young. We had loved it. Improvements to the house are wonderful - ensuite bathroom, internal toilets! In our day, there was an outdoor dunny! The house is a beautiful, Queenslander……

“The property is great. We had a lovely trip - so close to the beaches and shops. Large enough for two families of 4x and grandparents. The kids loved the separate sleeping area and their own kitchen. The main kitchen is well equipped and all the bedrooms are a good size for couples. Some feedback: the converted garage where the kids slept was so hot without a fan or air con. Also some foldable hanging racks would be really useful to use under the verandas during wet weather to dry beach……

“The property was clean and nicely decorated. It’s a perfect place to have a dog- we could sit on the back deck and watch her, knowing the yard was fully fenced & safe. The beds were very comfortable. Although it looks like a quiet street on the map, there was a lot of road noise. The third ‘bedroom’ isn’t private: you need to go through it to get to the main bedroom and the bathroom.
