"BALBOA BEACH ESCAPE" 20% discount for 28 day stay 10% Weekly Discount. Auto applied. Beach and Bay are only a block away. Nestled between the Balboa and Newport Beach Piers on the Balboa Peninsula. This mid century 4 unit building is located on West Balboa Blvd. It's perfect for walks on the beach to either pier location with many fine restaurants. It is also a short stroll to the Balboa Ferry, Fun Zone and Catalina Flyer. In the wee hours of the morning, when all is quite the surf can be heard. This "STUDIO" apartment has A/C, granite counter tops, updated cabinets, a full kitchen, small bathroom with shower, comfy queen size captain’s bed with drawer space underneath, Smart TV with Cable and Free Wifi. Garage Parking for a Sub-Compact Car.This ground floor unit overlooks the shared garden patio. Grill your own burger, steak or hot dog's on our Weber Gas BBQ. Beach Chairs and Beach Towels are provided for your use. One of the wonderful things to do is wake up grab a cup of coffee and go watch the surf roll in. SLP13793

A shared Coin-Op Washer and Dryer are on site. Other tenants in building are full time residents so quite hours are very important.

My stay was for 6 nights in total. Very nice accommodations. Very clean. Kitchen was nice and large enough. All appliances were in good working condition. Bed, bathroom and living area were nice & sufficient. The location was within walking distance to the Newport Beach pier. Communication w owner leading up to my stay was always prompt and very good information.Definitely would stay again if ever in Newport Beach area again.

The unit was awesome. Spotless to clean spacious. Full kitchen. Nice outdoor seating for breakfast. A three minute walk to the beach. Plenty of free street parking. Communication with the owner was perfect. Fantastic location. You don’t even have to move your car so much to do within walking distance.

Nice place for a couple to stay. Short distance from the beach, unit was clean and had all the necessities and then some. Walking distance from both piers. Garage is small and a sedan won't fit. (Car rental companies fault, not the hosts.) Just noting as street parking can add up, so make sure you get a true compact if you want to avoid the hassle.

Went to Balboa Xmas Boat parade . Walking distance. Couldn’t fit car in garage, and lucky found parking on side street, otherwise area is paid parking. Had trouble figuring out heater, but had warm comforter on bed. Screen door needs adjusting didn’t close . The only other con was creamer packets were left out and spoiled. So if you like morning coffee , buy creamer put in fridge. The owner was very nice and helped me with WiFi. I appreciate such. It was great for the time needed. Love this area and felt safe. I’d rent again

Beware, street traffic very busy and noisy. Road construction, jackhammers every morning at 7am. If you’re planning of spending an appreciable amount of time in the unit, try a quieter location.

We had a lovely stay at this property! The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the beach and surrounded by many shops and restaurants! The property manager was very helpful when we needed to store our bags before checkin as well as accommodating our need for a late check out! Definitely recommend!

Great Location!

The check in/out process was so easy, well stocked and we loved the location right between the Ocean and Bay, we watched the boat parade right behind the Unit. I would however suggest having a couple blankets stocked in the Closet, it got a bit chilly at night. I would definitely recommend this Unit and come back to stay again.

The property is close to the beach, but on a main highway. The garage parking spot is too small for a small SUV and only big enough for a small car so we parked on the street. It wasn't a problem, but could be in the peak of summer.

Perfect home for the two of us!

So glad we decided to come…b/c the weather was going to be bad, we contemplated cancelling - it didn’t work out to cancel & we’re so glad it didn’t! What a beautiful place, the peninsula & so close to the beach & restaurants! Janet’s home was perfect for the two of us as opposed to a hotel that just gives you beds to sleep in & bathrooms! We loved the conveniences of home: the little living room, full kitchen, a little garage & lots of storage! For the most part, it was quiet where we were but could hear the neighbors a few times. As the reviews said, the home was very clean which made it that much more comfortable to stay there. We so appreciate getting to stay in your home, Janet, thank you for letting us stay there & for being so attentive to our questions! We loved staying here!

Nice Studio!

I stayed here for a week while visiting family in the area. This studio, while basic, had everything I needed and is great for one person. It was clean and the owners communicated well. I had no problem finding convenient street parking. I would stay here again.
