Perfect for Couples Group

Five couples visited this beautiful lodge on Sugar Cove and had an absolutely wonderful time. The space was large, clean, and had great access to Douglas Lake. Adding this one to my list to visit again

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lodge! It was beautiful, clean, and the owner was responsive and polite! Plenty of space to get together and eat, enjoy the view, or hangout in the den. Location wise - it’s a bit off the beaten path, but we were still less than an hour drive from most major tourist attractions.

Family Vacation 2023

Our family loved everything about this property, even the great workout up and down the hill! Great hosts and so much fun! We rented the pontoon for the week which was super nice. Lots of space for all of us too! Thanks so much! Highly recommend!

Great Trip

Beautiful home on Douglas Lake. We had the lake to ourselves and it was enormous! The infinity pool was amazing! We chose to rent the golf cart and boat/tube from the owners and was a great decision! We had plenty of room and enjoyed sitting on the back deck and doing smores at the firepit! Hidden gem!

Great Getaway

A small group of friends drove up for a long weekend at this amazing property. We order grocery pickup and then just settled in for the rest of the time there. We had a great stress free time at this property and every question we had was quickly answered by the property management team. Amazing views and we loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom! I would definitely come back to this same location for future stays.

House was large and had features as advertised. Spectacular view. Pool was great. Josh was very responsive and great to deal with. Hill down to the pool and lake is very steep. Get a golf cart if possible.

Beautiful and relaxing enviroment.

Beautiful cabin set in a very relaxing and quite lake front view. Plenty of room for our family which is 8 adults and 4 children to spread out and enjoy. Cabin has lots of amenities. Really the only thing that we had to bring was our food. Decorated nicely for Christmas. We will be returning here for our family Christmas's. Staff was very easy and accommodating. Hats off to Josh for a great job.

Beautiful home and location

This home was just beautiful. There are 12 of us ranging in age from 2 to 65. The golf cart made our trips to the lake and pool easy. The villas on the property were being used as well with folks from Ohio and TX and we all share the dock and pool just fine and we met new friends. Our only negative was that the activities for the kids were further away than the milage leads you to believe because of the winding 2-lane roads. All in all this was a great vacation! Our 10th year of celebrating our summers together.

Family Vacation

Spent the 4th of July with my family at this beautiful cottage overlooking the Lake. Many porches and indoor space for 14 of us, children ages 8-14. Very responsive manager, Josh, who gets an A+++ rating. You won’t be disappointed. However if you have elderly guests who will be using the dock and pool strongly suggest renting golf cart as path, though not far is very steep.

Best fall break ever!!!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was perfect for our three families. We disconnected, enjoyed the lake, pool, nature and the accommodations. Best stocked kitchen in terms of tools etc. would only ask that maybe there be more dish towels next time. Josh was awesome and super responsive. The golf cart was a must. We hope to come back when the pontoon is in the water!! #McWiloshertson20
