Overall, the property was just as described and the pictures were accurate to the property. It was certainly big enough to be comfortable for 3 adults and 2 children for a week's stay. The apartment was a very easy walking distance to the beach, and the neighborhood felt safe. Check-in and check-out were also very easy with the keypad locks. I really appreciated that the apartment came with so many amenities available, such as shampoo, soap, toilet paper, dishwashing and detergent packs, and much more. There was even a washer and dryer so we could throw in our bathing suits and towels after a day at the beach.
My only complaint was the hair in the drain of the shower, but otherwise, the property had clearly been vacuumed, and the bathroom and kitchen cleaned prior to our arrival. 2
Just an FYI - Buckroe Beach is a bay beach, so while the waves were very mild (perfect for small kids when compared to VA beach), there were also a host of jellyfish near the beach in late July.
